Original vs Modified Paper Bats Flying Competition
In this video I'll show you how to fold two type of paper bat plane making and flying comparison. This planes flies in a "flapping" manner, hence the name Bat Plane. The plane is designed by Jack Scott. You only need an A4 sheet of printer paper.
Tips:
- Use high quality 80 -100 GSM A4 sheet
- Last steps are important to flapping
- Fold sharp creases and make the plane symmetrical
- To make the airplane fly upwards, slightly curve the back of the wings upwards
- Watch the video in high quality
- Rewind or adjust the video speed in the settings if needed

Its also happen to me, my planepaper doesnt work to fly, after that i change my paper type to 70 GSM. And then its work it can fly like this video. the weight and lightness of the paper also affects, good luck!

@@minayu541 GG. Unfortunally I'm crap at folding _and_ the wind blows chaotically in all directions where I live, so mine didn't work out. Good to hear that this trick can work.

For the people saying it's fake: you can see the shadows when it hits the ground, also mid video it becomes dark and the airplanes are barely visible, it would take a talented vfx artist or it's simply just a normal video

I used to make paper planes when I was quite young. I think my brother showed me how from a Rupert annual. They used to have paper folding diagrams based on one of the stories if I remember. I made them from old newspapers. Sometimes they would hover and dip like birds, sometimes go high in the sky and disappear over the roof tops. Then you just went in and made another one. These bat ones are very good. They would have flown much better with a breeze however slight.

Conhecia outras duas "aeronaves" com dobras diferentes.
Um dos modelos que eu fazia, era muito simples.
Numa tarde, lancei uma pela janela de meu apartamento.
Era praticamente um andar térreo, mas diante de uma pequena colina. (20 ou 30 metros).
Ele voou em linha reta a pequena colina, e atravessou o quarteirão ( a quadra ), da frente.
Um percurso de algo em torno de mais ou menos uns 150 metros.
Fiquei observando e MUITO ADMIRADO da distância que atingiu.
Acredito que só foi possível, por ter recebido correntes de ar muito favoráveis. Talvez brisa de ar quente.
Comentei com a garotada da rua (onde residia) e ninguém acreditou.
Já fiz um agora, muito às pressas e sem o devido capricho, porém, FUNCIONA E MUITO BEM !!!
No momento em que tiver "paz de espírito", farei mais alguns, com capricho.
