How tall did you make your DM screen. I've just recently created one out of cardboard, and made it A4 landscape but discovered its too high for me to be able to see in front of me for the battle map and the players. And I really like your version (although I have no ability or resources to do it in wood).
I did make it the same size as A4 actually, 21cm by 29cm. I usually tend to have the DM screen close to me so it doesn't feel too high, And I usually stand up during combat so I can reach the battle map. You might want to try cutting some scrap cardboard and using tape to stick them together and try some different sizes and see what you fee the most comfortable with.
I got it from a post by Ronny on Olddungeonmaster.com should be able to search "DM screen" on their search bar to find it. olddungeonmaster.com/2015/07/15/5e-homemade-dm-screen/
Very cool functionality, and I love the nebula artwork on the back.
Spiffy. Really like the built-in stuff, like the tray, pole, and magnet boards
I had the idea of a fold out dice tray in my head for AGES, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out
Love the initiative tracker
What a cool DM screen
Thanks, had a game with it and it worked great, awesome piece of tech heavily carried by the versatility and innovation that is sticky tac.
