Funny thing: So today I actually did the video work for a Stand-to-Stand Bridge tutorial (imagine leaning back into a bridge from a standing position). However, I realized I had never posted the tutorial for a normal Bridge on RUclips, so I decided to post this first! It's an older video but I hope you all like it. I don't expect bridging videos to be very popular (most people don't know the exercise or want to do it), but the bridge is still one of my favorite exercises and I'm happy to share it.

When I was a child I did bridges all the time and loved that I was able to do it. Puberty hit me hard and I gained a lot of weight, got really conscious about my body and stopped doing sports because other kids would bully me. Now, at almost 30, I really wanna be more healthy and fitter, so I started excercising, and build some of your tips into my routines - now I am glad this video finally showed up in my recommended, so I can safely start working up to someday being able to do the bridge again! I love bridges and doing the variations throughout the day. I haven't tried starting from a standing position going into a bridge since I was a teenager. But I generally bend back pretty far. It reminds me of the matrix, except i don't go that low to the floor. Also, I go straight back. I DO NOT recommend trying to recreate any movie scene where an actor twists their spine in multiple planes. It could result in serious injury. Joints have limits on the planes they can safely be moved in. The shoulder and hip joints have the most ROM and can move in all planes, which is why they are the most commonly injured. Be safe everyone 💞
