LiS 1 is still one the best experiences i've ever had with a game. It's soooo calming and soothing, with a melancholic evening nostalgia that playing it as a pre-teen did to me.

I feel like life is strange 2 hits older brothers more than just normal players bc I've seen people play it and then I've played it and as an older bro to 5 siblings that game hit me really hard

LiS2 is definitely my fav LiS game, it's so underrated. It's the saddest one, the one that left me empty for so long right after because the story is just so tragic but amazing, with Sean being doomed from the start and all the endings being bitter sweet, with no way for Sean and Daniel to escape regrets. I wish it had more recognition
I love LIS 2 so much. The story of the brothers was so impactful for me. It really leaves a void in your chest... Always running away, always worried, lost, humiliated, hunted. And when they find peace, they need to run away again... not to mention the endings, which are all tragic kk.
Which ending did you get?
I got the one where Sean goes to Mexico alone :( Daniel stays with his grandparents. But on the other hand, he was able to study, he had more moments with Chris, he got a new doggo and Sean stayed in Mexico with Cassidy, thank God🙏🏻 But sadly away from your little brother 😭
@tetelele2752 I got the Blood Brothers ending (the one where Sean and Daniel go to Mexico together), and I just get this ending on purpose everytime I play because it's my favorite. It's still sad but all the endings are so... To me this is the one I would've wanted in this situation, I think this one and the one you got are the two best outcomes but this is really subjective since they're all bittersweet at best :( This game keeps destroying me again and again

They use Daniel's Powers to steal money and survive.
Daniel is under house arrest.
Daniel accidentally kills Sean and lives alone.
Sean goes to prison for 15 year sand comes out a mentally broken man and their relationship is tarnished.
@retrograde1999 yeah that's why I said it's completely subjective. To me personally these two endings are the ones that make me the less sad and the Blood Brothers one is my personal favorite, but it's still sad anyway

Let’s be honest they were all perfect but LiS 1 is my favorite & the goat. But as far as the life lessons go, LiS 2 is the best so far.
Life Is Strange 2 didn't get enough love for a few reasons.
1-It was release right near the time of Trump's election.
2-It wasn't another Pricefield or Amberprice game.

@@retrograde1999 Yea, I remember seeing all the racist complaints and ppl wanting any mention of Pricefield or other characters from LiS1. I also saw ppl mentioning wanting a girl protagonist again which I think is part of why they ended up having a girl protag in True Colors.
Rarely did I see positive or constructive criticism of LiS2 on the internet. I mostly saw negative comments. I do have a friend whose fav LiS game is LiS2
LiS is such a special experience. The games themselves feel like home to me. I am not very good with mechanically hard games anymore and I love me some good stories.

LIS True colors is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED AND ITS THE BEST IN THE SERIES
We've never got a bad life is strange game, before playing before the storm, I thought it might not have been as good as the others because it didn't have that big sci-fi aspect in it, but now its probably one of my favourite life is strange games.
im so glad to see everyone agreeing that LiS2 was the best. i just finished watching a gameplay of it and i feel like crying everytime i think about it. it definitely hit me on another level that i can’t even comprehend.

Life is Strange True Colours became my number 1 after my second playthrough, I love how we, the players got to discover Alex's past rather than having the protagonist with an already solid background like the first 2 games, the start was slower than the others but after that the plot and twists were so good, it definitely captured the mystery aspect that LiS 1 had.
I second this. Might just be biased bc of my love for the Colorado scenery in general but they executed that game beautifully. My list would for sure fall like

@@xtimothy-xl3706 I have the same list, except LiS 2 and Before the Storm are swapped. Personally, Before the storm wasn't quite for me mainly because it didn't have a supernatural aspect to it, I didn't hate it, I just didn't find interesting compared to the rest.

I feel bad for Deck Nine working so hard to create better, more cohesive, more likeable and more complex stories and characters despite knowing full well the fanbase will always be hung up on Max and Chloe despite their flaws.
i feel like the fandom can be a real pain in the backside. Just because it's not a new Pricefield game, doesn't give you the right to behave like a moron (i initially did this when the reveal for True Colours came out).
Absolutely, they’ve had 2 games and a comic book series. Aside from possibly cameos or references in future games their story is over. Let them have their happy ending.

Same, in LIS1 and LIS2 each chapter was memorable for me. In LIS3, there wasn’t a lot of special moments for me to remember it by :( not to mention the lack of consequences. Would’ve been nice if there was that option of Alex ending up in prison or smth. The different endings it had weren’t too different compared to the first 2 games.

Seeing all the people in here saying LiS2 is their favourite makes me so happy. That game went super underrated, but it’s by far my favourite of the entire franchise and LiS1 was my favourite game of all time when it released, but the sequel topped that, for me

LiS is good cause it’s a wet dream for teenage girls. It’s really good but these girls hype it up so much. LiS True colors is a good installment. It has wonderful scores and good potential, if only was executed better. Now, LiS2 is something different. Really hits hard with emotions and thoughts. The game targets so many matters and aspects of life while still providing the bonding and relationships with other characters. Truly a masterpiece

Finally some LiS 2 love. I kept seeing hate for it. When I finally played it…man it hit so hard as an older brother whose had to take care of my little brother alone before at 18-19. Daniel was so much like my little brother, I had tears in my eyes at the end. I related so much to Sean whose still just a teen too. They really nailed what it’s like to be a teen in a parental sibling role. They never listen when it’s important, you lash out bc of it and feel so guilty afterwards.

@@MasterGame5129 I was starting a Playthrough of the BTS remaster with my sister to prepare for the new game. We tagged out after some not so nice speech glitches in the Farewell DLC Episode.
I'm not gonna lie, True Colours felt weak on the story/gameplay front, and sorta lacked any real consequences for your actions. Love Alex with all the atoms in my body though

The main story of True Colors lacked depth and build up like it's predecessors but on the good side, most supporting characters have their own stories and are likeable. Ryan is the one i relate to the most.

I don’t know why, but I can’t get over life is strange 1. Before the storm and the original game were… I fell in love with the storyline so much. I really hope they do something with it :)

Ok this is deep encouragement to play these sequels. Havent played a LiS since Before the Storm (including farewell), which i loved. Havent played a game of this genre since Tell Me Why which made me cry uncontrollably. I think im strong enough to experience the others now that i know theyre still top tier
They are. If you remember how LIS 1 and BTS made you feel, you'll feel like that doubly for 2 and True Colors
Perfect series gets a perfect rating. I was so worried you were gonna rank LIS3 low bc it's actually so solid. They did great with the whole series. Anyone who enjoys tell tale games will pretty much be on the same page.

I have become an instant fan when LIS1 came out. The feeling while playing was so surreal, soothing and melancholic. Never felt that way playing games before. If I could I wanna play it again for the first time and experience it one more time.

I know I'm very much in the minority here, but Before The Strom is my personal favorite LiS game.
I just love Chole and Rachel so damn much❤ I personally relate so much to both their characters(especially Chole) they legitimately feel like real-world people that I'm really really connected to.

I was very touched by true colors i dont know in what way but it just felt better than the first and second game it felt more complete, it all came full circle, if i had lost my mom my dad than my brother and finally found a place that i actually felt Home i would stay and live the rest of my life

Bro, I'm conflicted about Life is Strange: Double Exposure. It feels wrong to have a game about Max without Chloe, especially after everything they went through in the first game. And the fact that the original developers aren't involved is also a concern.
Square Enix didn't help with things. They kinda forced a thing or two with Dontnod

I just started to play this series, even tho I got bugs which I couldn't open journal so I have to restart it again. So far so great, emotional and really enjoyable.

Every single game they've made has always had a slow chapter that wasnt interesting and they havent made a game that was "perfect". But i love the games. Uh... nope. Before the storm hit the same emotions, but as a game it was one step lower than original Life is Strange. And LiS 2 - much, much lower.
