The way they did the Bratz release reminds me how Disney did the Nightmare Before Christmas Starbucks cup. It was a bloodbath the first time around. And even when they capped it at 2 per order, it still was hard to get it. I know the queen Amidala enamel pen and doll for the 25th was actually smoother to get. And I thought at least star wars would be crazy. Sometimes I think these brands do it on purpose. They know the viral marketing and collecting at an all time high. 🤷

The Ariel doll is finally something different, although I don’t get why they didn’t make the dress silver like in the movie. Looks good though, but I wonder why I everyone says „it’s the dress from the movie“ when it basically has zero in common with that one 🤗
There’s so much debate on the color, silver, blue, purple, lavendar etc. and it’s been 35 years so for marketability purposes things change. Ariel never had a green dress in the movie but she gets marketed in one. And her corset is black in blue dress but Disney rarely does a black corset.
The dress she wears at the end was always purple I don’t know how people thought it was silver? Is there a colour blindness in certain people when it comes to this dress?? I don’t understand this phenomenon lol besides the colour it has a similar design as the dress she wears at the end it has a slit up the leg and hanging straps around the shoulders, they just didn’t give it a really swooping neckline but it’s obviously it’s the dress her father gives her when she becomes human

He seems to be the fully articulated regular Prince collector body I’ve seen it before but not often. The play line Prince bodies are different.
