You can always mod fsr FG into this game with 2000 and 3000 series cards. It's very easy and it helps a ton. My 3080 ti handles very high ray tracing at 1440p like a champ.
I’d wager the L2 on the 4060 is a big help here. That frame drop upon transformation into “Flamey Boi” is a big clue as to what’s going on. Those smoke and particle effects are quite thick, and this game appears to be rife with vegetation. Metric shit ton of overdraw going on. This game is massively bandwidth constrained. Cards with larger caches (Ada Lovelace, and AMD cards with big Infinity Cache) can handle better, as they’ve enough of it to hold a significant part of the frame in cache. Ampere and earlier does not, so it probably will only be cards with a lot of raw VRAM bandwidth that will fare well. You can test this by taking the RTX 3080 or 3090, and underclocking the heck out of VRAM. I suspect with upscaling being much better, we’ll probably see console games abuse this by leaning heavily into bandwidth/fillrate demanding effects going forward, stuff that would’ve been considered utter insanity a scant few years ago. Compared to something with Cyberpunk, which features much less overlapping geometry and effects by comparison, making it a far more bandwidth efficient game.
@@prashantmishra9985 True, though the 4060 also has 24 MB (32 for the laptop version) of L2. This is more than enough to store a 1080P frame, while the 3MB L2 on the 3060 is nowhere near enough. While certainly not a replacement for more raw VRAM bandwidth, being able to keep your full frames in L2, means bandwidth heavy effects at the rasterization step (particularly those hitting the ROPs) should enact a much smaller performance hit. Once you start getting into ray tracing though, that L2 doesn’t help nearly as much, because the involved datasets are simply too large. And similarly for the shading steps, owing to the need to constantly access large textures. Though there’s still much more leeway before having to access VRAM. In practice, this appears to be pretty successful. Even with older games, the 4060 in my laptop, generally edges out, or stomps the 3060 12g in my desktop, despite having ~500 fewer CUDA cores, 2/3 the memory bandwidth, and drawing 60 watts less power, whilst being a much smaller chip. So it’s hard to argue against its effectiveness on a technical level. The biggest point of contention is how expensive the bloody thing is on desktop though. If it was a $200 card instead of a $300 card, I think it would be more positively received. Honestly, a decent sale on a laptop with a 4060 (I’ve seen some as low as the $700’s), almost makes more sense than building a desktop with the card. The performance is about on parity (for the model laptops running the 4060 at 115w+) anyway.

It's not the cards fault, its the games/dev fault. The card is strong, but it is how they make the game that makes it run so poorly. And sometimes it is not the devs but the person/people making the game engine itself. They don't put in the effort to optimize the engine. They want to throw features down a person's throat.
And it still does get good enough graphics in almost every game, 4080 super at max settings only gets 70 fps at 1080p native, 55 at 1440p nothing gets above 50 fps at 4k in this game, the game just demands alot from a gpu for better......or for worse.
It was released in 2021 and it sits in the next to lowest tier of last gen cards, why would you expect that? Anyway, 1440p medium with a hint of DLSS looks great to me here.

lets face it. 3060 costs as much as a 4060 in most markets but each game that comes out it is getting beaten by the 4060.. If you can sell your 3060, do it and upgrade to 4060. it is worth it to upgrade to 4060. what else will you upgrade to? RX7600? 3060 is far more overpriced than the 4060. 4060 reviews didn't account for new games, changes in market and prices and also didn't account for the 3060 starting to lose optimization within a few months of the 4060 release
@@TJones4L these don't exist new.. in my country we only have warehouse retailers who supply businesses and corporate and then they sell gaming stuff on the side, they are always out of stock of options like 6600, 6750XT or anything else. the 2nd hand market wants to make some money back on their old GPUs so its ridiculous to buy 2nd hand. the only real life options are the RTX 3050 and the RTX 4060.. and you just have to pay 4060 prices if you don't want 3050... there's nothing we can do.

Hello everyone, I don’t understand that people have lost their memory after the coronavirus. Because there are many good projects that are beautiful and detailed and do not require powerful hardware. Such as Batman arkham knight, the game still looks amazing to this day. Forza horizon 4 and 5 look more beautiful than GT7. Horizon zero dawn & Forbidden West .Mafia remake .Microsoft flight simulator.Dasy gone.Hitman 3. and many other projects. It seems to me easier to return games and than to play a non-optimized game. The game about monkey looks 6 out of 10
9:40 i can tell you right now this game on 1080 with medium settings runs a lot better and looks A LOT better on that 3060 compared to my 1660 ti. i average 40-60 frames a second and it’s very fuzzy looking. that’s in 720. at 1080 drying any boss fight/ graphically intensive area my frames drop to 20-40. i may need to do some more optimization to my pc in general, while i have done a little bit. just don’t think that was an accurate comparison lol
When I had my 2060s for heavy games I tried DLSSTweaks with dlss at Ultra Quality 0.77 and most of the time it looked great and was enough for 60fps or 1080p 1.78x dldsr with Dlss balanced
Since the days nexus modders explained why games like Dragons Dogma II and Starfield are so bad optimized i started to believe every single game will have the same issue, according to them, those games use default 4k textures all the time, and when you low down the graphics presets they remain in 4k, just a lot more blurry but can't be enough to make a difference in CPU and GPU usage, looks like industry nowadays forggot not only how to write good stories but the technical part too.
To be honest AMD graphic cards shine here I guess, got RX 7900 XTX, sure its top amd graphic card but its cheaper from best nvidia cards, had over 100 fps at all times with "cinematic" graphic and 2k. Not a single freeze too.

Hello It's good to remember some people were using DLSS mod on nexus to improve it's performance even more it's worth to try it plus its better performance that FSR if ur using a RTX graphic
You can mod, and use DLSS + FRAMEGEN (FSR), and get a good boost of fps, and better image quality than fsr 3.0 with dlss.
i have rtx 4060 and i can tell you that dlss and fsr is bad in this game
both fsr and dlss are really bad rn
@@j.s.k.fel9elb not in 1440p. At 1080 yes.
@@ernestofernandez7471 If your eyes got used to 1440p quality then yes 1080p would look slightly worse and ofc playing smoothly on 1440p also requires a very beefy GPU in new titles like this :)

i feel the same for myself aswell...😂
3060 is still goated
Especially if you have a small display which makes 1080p appear clear and crisp.

thanks for the bench, can you try the 2080/2080 super next? i was wondering if it can still handle these games with some configuration
3060 definitely shown its age
Nah it aint that bad, but definitely not the same as it was like 3 years ago
its started by watching how 3060 behaves in this game, then i completelly fogot what i was watchig this for and started to sawtch if you can kill bosses then you said "anyway guys, thats it from this settings" and i was like "wait, what?,oh.. that's why im here" xD
Need to see how the 2060 is holding up

Linkin Park, minha banda de coração, obrigado por completar a letra!
Bro's playing this game through variety of GPU.
Your nearly there almost got the boss
Begging you to also add 3070 🙌 thanks!
RTX 3070 is about 45% faster than RTX 3060 so performance should be similar at 1440p like 3060 on 1080p. I think 3070 and 1080p can provide the best smooth experience.

THE GT 1030
this is crazy
It is a UE 5.0.0 title! (Very heavy vs newer UE variants of the engine)
Thank you so much bro 😂

Might get this one would love to see how the rx 6800 does, I'm told tsr looks better on amd gpus in this game btw might be worth a check u can also still use fg.
Hey krizp nice video
Can we have 2060 test? I would like how it runs at 1440. Would ve possible to run on it?
Imposible , yo tengo 3050 y va mal
Snake Bob wins again. Come on man - you can beat him!
A video with the Rx5700 xt would be cool
Doesn't fsr 3.1 allow you to use dlss as upscaling while enabling fg at the same time?
The game has FSR 3.0
Make a video on Lossless Scaling on low end pc and give your opinion on input delay situation
Great ❤
When it comes to visuals I for sure think people who watch this video should try to play around with the settings to play with GI Quality on high or very high, makes a huge difference IMO
I'll give it a try thanks for the tip!
@@kuro.editzzz It's also like one of the most demanding settings but that's obviously for a reason too. If you yourself can't notice a big change then it might be worth it to just put it back on medium.
Bro I have 1660ti and i am thinking to buy this , should i? Please Make a 1660 ti video of this game if you can.
What would you recommend I overclock my pny 3060 ti to I want to see its absolute best performance but safely with msi afterburner I want to test it with a safe over clock I also got a ryzen 5 5600x
I wonder if Denuvo is affecting the performance in this game🤔
waiting for 3080 !
dude can u please test rtx 3050 8gb in wukong. i have been waiting for a long time. 😎
Tengo esa. Me va muy mal.😢😢😢😢
me too wanna know how it runs on rtx 3050
@@alexcardozo5726the 3050 is worse than a 1070.
So what’s the final recommendation?
Yo can you benchmark the RX 580 8GB Paired with the Ryzen 9 7950X3D?
the real benchmark is the last chapter when you collect the wukong's armor😂
lets face it. 3060 costs as much as a 4060 in most markets but each game that comes out it is getting beaten by the 4060.. If you can sell your 3060, do it and upgrade to 4060. it is worth it to upgrade to 4060. what else will you upgrade to? RX7600? 3060 is far more overpriced than the 4060. 4060 reviews didn't account for new games, changes in market and prices and also didn't account for the 3060 starting to lose optimization within a few months of the 4060 release
you can just get the 6750 XT for $20 more
@@TJones4L these don't exist new.. in my country we only have warehouse retailers who supply businesses and corporate and then they sell gaming stuff on the side, they are always out of stock of options like 6600, 6750XT or anything else. the 2nd hand market wants to make some money back on their old GPUs so its ridiculous to buy 2nd hand. the only real life options are the RTX 3050 and the RTX 4060.. and you just have to pay 4060 prices if you don't want 3050... there's nothing we can do.
3060 ti is way better, and has value
In my country the 4060 is 50 to 80 dollars more than the 3060 so i just went for it cuz i santed a budget pretty nice nvidia fpu and im not disappointed with it 😁
Imo if you have 3060 you are in a good spot, you don't need no upgrade, only if you want to go 1440p then (3080/6800/4070/7900XT) are your best options
The game about monkey looks 6 out of 10
Arc A770 for curiosities sake?
Probably after the 3060 ti and 6900 xt though 😁
RTX 3060 nice
Can you do next with 3060ti?
My Graphics Card says NO to Unreal Engine games. I simply agree with it.
Can you do one with rx 6600? I want to buy the game but I only have rx 6600. So, I am contemplating wether to buy it or not
9:40 i can tell you right now this game on 1080 with medium settings runs a lot better and looks A LOT better on that 3060 compared to my 1660 ti. i average 40-60 frames a second and it’s very fuzzy looking. that’s in 720. at 1080 drying any boss fight/ graphically intensive area my frames drop to 20-40. i may need to do some more optimization to my pc in general, while i have done a little bit. just don’t think that was an accurate comparison lol
Did you know that my RTX 4060 beats your RX 7900 XTX at 1080p cinematic + ray tracing very high?
@@mikymouse7525It's cheap af that's true, but no idea where u get that weird info about 4060 being better... Check again and just to be sure check again after that, because benchmark says something different.
anyone watching this with an rtx2070 might as well use the 3060 as a bench, very simarlar.
Where's RT?
I recently got a 4060 2 days ago and paired it with i5 10400 do you think it's okay??

Did you change gpu everytime
And update its bios ????
I wonder how different the numbers are vs their benchmark tool. havent gotten the game but i benched repeatable 1080 @ 60 flat with 75 resolution and only draw distance lowered and RT to medium and high settings everywhere else with a 10600k and 4060 no OC. it was gorgeous by the way.
apparently the latest windows update improves am4 (and am5) cpu performance by about 15%.
Next 3060ti plz
This is a very slow 3060, it sholud be running at least at 2000Mhz, and that would make a lot of difference, some models can be overclocked to 2150 Mhz even.
Wait, so the same rtx can be slower for one person and faster for another?!
@@Koofi3 Yes, different manufacturers uses different clockspeeds.
@@Koofi3yes thats true the oc versions will provide you with more performance due to the higher boost clocks. But never mind the msi afterburner exists 😂 you can literally overclock the memory of the rtx rtx3060(12gb version) to almost +1600 over stock
Can you test the 3080?
Waiting for RTX 3060 ti ❤❤
It's not the game that need optimized it's UE5. the engine performance is garbage since launch, the game looks like shit without their technique to hide it.
Would 3060ti be any diff from 3060? Can you test that
Around 30% faster ish, so like if the 3060 gets 55 fps the ti would get 70 roughly.
I play it with my 3060 at 1440p with high setting with DLSS quality and FG getting 70-80 fps
FG doesn't count bro. FG shouldn't be normalized.
Why are you normalising FG?, using upscaler itself kinda a band aid for lower performance and you are telling you are using FG ? What a joke the games these days became.
@@intermilan9731 why i shouldn't use a feature thats increase the performance?
@@xexungo It actually doesn't. It introduces a ton of artifacts and not to mention horrible input lag. Plus, fast movements, temporary disables this feature which ruins immersion . It's a scam feature from companies to be lazy and just over-charge, when they can just make the GPUs and games better.
I mean you can use it, but can't say it's a good thing. It's the opposite.
@@xexungo its not a feature at all!, damn the kids these days. Its actually running at 30 fps, but the fps monitor will show as 60 fps...thats what this feature is. Its actually does more harm than good. You can notice especially in combats, where for example the fire sparks thing happens, your pc will freeze (input lag) and you can't play for 2 seconds.
Its the feature for devs tho. Because they can optimize horribly by their desire and shove us in our throat with default RT, scamming us as (i mean advertising as...) new feature, and advise us to use upscaler. Our games in this era is doomed.
please try rtx 3080 at 4k this game has just made the 30 series outdated for 4k gaming
