I had a hip replaced, due to heavy pain, at age 80. The day after, I came home and walked up 24 steps. Three days later, I was out walking and driving. I was alone during all of this. I am very careful to avoid falling. When you are a late senior, a fall can be devastating. Replacing my left hip was the best thing for me.
I am so happy for you, but as a very active woman who was in good shape before my two hip replacements, you are not the norm. I was on a walker for two weeks after my surgeries.
Will be 72 next month. Aging is so challenging. It takes a while to adjust to the fact that it is happening to you. A fall will humble you faster than just about anything. God gives grace to the humble ones. I wish her the best that God has for her.♥️🕊

I am a redhead like his wife and every time he would see me he would say hey red how you doing lol love them and her are still from the start. She’s a very special lady, I hope she does find someone in her life to bring her joy and peace. Love you Kathy Lee still have the pictures of me her and Regis and her autograph.

I remember her clothing line and her picture on big posters all over Lord & Taylor! She started off slowly on Today Show, but then again, became popular. There are People who found fault with her was because she was raised in a culturally Jewish environment, but became a Christian at a young age. I miss seeing her and wish her well.

Healthcare has become a casualty of too much cost and too little individual input. Get caught up in the treadmill existence of replacing worn parts like you are a car in the shop..it’s an expense and an expenditure of effort sometimes worth a rethink. 🍃

Kathy Lee Gifford is a professing Christian who if you examine the fruit of her life and use discernment will reveal some concerns. She has been the spokesperson for Carnival cruises and has stated happiness that she inked a deal with them to serve her wines. She along with Honda pushed drinking wine on their program. She married a man who had been married multiple times. She is a friend of the world with her career in show business. We are called to be separate from the world - to be in it but not of it. If Christians would only use discernment. I’m sure this comment will be greatly disliked but it is the truth.
I applaud you for this comment. The boozing has always been part of her life, I remember when she was on with Regis, she talked about her dog. The dog was named CHARDONNAY "After my favorite wine!" I also wonder if the "relationship" she's in now is a sexual one. How does that not fall under the definition of fornication? She dresses like a girl in her twenties.We all fall short of the Glory of God, and I don't wish her any ill, but I also don't buy her devoted Christian persona.

@@CharleneTruncer I have made a study of Bible wines. Most people don’t realize that wine was prevented from fermenting in Bible times. My Lord and Savior did not create alcoholic wine. First because it could not have been been fermented because that is a product of decay. Secondly He would never have created something that could lead to drunkenness. And people can get addicted to modern day distilled wine and never get drunk. But a person can drink wine and get behind the wheel and get a DUI. Carol Vey a devote Christian gives testimony of how she became addicted to wine and broke free from it. It is a slippery slope. And wines in Bible times were no nearly as potent as modern distilled wine.

Disturbing everyone calling up to the stage, interrupting the performance while her limo double parked outside. She was awful…she behaved like narcissistic alcoholic..just saying. 🙄
I used to enjoy Nashville TN. So much fun! I stopped going when #45 turned being a ‘country’ into a mean-spirited, dangerous way to be. Nashville had been an exception to ‘RED’ state mentality, but no longer😢. Hoping things will change after the election and Nashville will go back to shades of purple and welcome democrats as well as republicans - and all in between🩵

One of my old friends broke her pelvis going down her driveway on a hill. She said it’s extremely painful and takes a long time to heal.
