First off, this doesn't have access to anything that and OBD2 scanner doesn't already have access to, meaning it's basically useless because any roadside mechanic can just pull up and plug in a scanner, not that it matters because there's nothing that a roadside mechanic can fix other than flat tires or broken serpentine belts, and neither of those require an OBD2 scanner. Anything more complicated and it's basically just "oh I can't do anything, so I'll call the flatbed to tow you to a mechanic" and all of this already comes included with a AAA membership. I highly doubt demo is going to be the service provider for tow trucks and roadside mechanics, so unless you connect a AAA account, there will never be a push notification on your phone asking if you'd like a tow truck, because who the fuck is going to pay for the tow truck? Secondly, pretty much every modern car can give you on screen oil life, battery voltage, and battery life in EVs. I know for a fact, because I'm not a fucking idiot, that the voltage in your battery, on a standard ICE vehicle, does not directly correlate to the health of the battery, just whether or not there's a good chance it's going to start. Additionally, there's absolutely no way this is going to save you money at the mechanics, because they could just unplug it or claim that it's wrong. On top of that, a lot of modern cars are implementing app-based entry and driving capabilities. My 2023 Elantra has a key app, so that if you don't have your car key on you, you can still start, lock, unlock, and control the car. This is yet another weak point for hackers, and TikTokers who have basic computer knowledge, to find weak points, to gain unrestricted access to your car. We already had people stealing kids with a thumb drive, now they're going to be stealing any car with an OBD2 scanner, with a jailbroken dimo plug in. This is an absolute joke of a coin, a scam of a product, and a horrible idea all around. I'll be watching with fervor to witness this collapse like every other crypto scheme has.
