Dave Weisser nice! There’s one other guy who did an amazing job with his Star Wars one as well, though he did the signatures for R2 and C3PO and didn’t do one for Chewbacca, so it was neat and unexpected to see you do his here
Honestly I wanted to put C-3PO and R2 in the final stretch, but they didn't have 3D models in Battlefront, so I couldn't keep them the same with everyone else, so opted to put them in with the highly honored OG characters like Frank Oz and Sir Alec Guinness.
Fun fact - Natalie Portman is in the EXACT same spot in both the Endgame and my Star Wars credits. Sadly, it didn't work thematically to put Mace Windu as the final OG character - an honor that definitely needed to go to Sir Alec Guinness.
Well, when comparing the MCU to Star Wars, Samuel L. Jackson was sort of the established actor that tied the newer actors together, which is what Sir Alec Guinness did for the original Star Wars trilogy. The goal was to match the organizational structure and style of the Endgame credits, which is why I went new trilogy, prequels, original trilogy. (Even if it would have been hilarious to have Samuel L. Jackson in the same spot. 😃)
@@daveweisser your attention to detail is astounding! wouldn't have figured had you not pointed it out. congrats on the vid! you deserve a whole lot more, especially with this level of quality!
If there's two movie franchises near and dear to my heart it's Star Wars and the MCU, so linking the two was definitely a labor of love. I'm glad the video is finally picking up steam (literally went from like 6,000 views a week ago to over 22,000 now), but at the end of the day I did it to see if I could (and apparently I could!), and as an example for my film students. That said, it's a bonus that other fans are enjoying it and some might be inspired to try their own hand at making something cool and creative!
I mean, I get why they kept it consistent with the rest of the series, and if they had done this people would have accused them of copying Endgame, but it did feel like it lacked a little finality with there NOT being something like this.
Thanks! Everything is a learning process, so I picked up some new tricks this go round and had some fun doing it at the same time - so win-win. Glad you liked it!
For me,it would be : Daisy Ridley Ewan McGregor Hayden Christensen Carrie Fisher Harrison Ford Mark Hamill Your Endgame credits is PERFECT,yours is the only one that nailed the centre figures of the final 6
Thanks! They were kind of a lucky break in figuring out how to emulate the movement and lighting in the silhouettes from the Endgame credits. Just had to rotoscope them out of their backgrounds!
Nah, man. This is the greatest thing I have seen and all. But by adding this to the actual ending, would have caused a completely different result and reactions.
Absolutely brilliant. Main credits was SO SATISFYING as it went so well with the music especially luke. Although yoda should of been his puppet, Kylo is hard to see, and windu i believe a better shot would be when he enters palps office with his lightsaber on. But is still one of the best ive seen Good work
Thanks! With the original Endgame version, many of the shots they chose were actually pretty abstract, or focused on well-lit objects to get the light streaks - i.e. War Machine's chest arc reactor, or T'Challa doing the Wakanda Forever hand cross. So with this one I was trying to find some moments that sort of went with that vibe, while also showcasing more of the faces. I did contemplate doing the Kylo shot with his mask off staring down the saber, but, again, opted for a more abstract image. And did consider the Mace entering moment as well, but thought the saber popped more in this one. But glad you liked it!
It should be r2d2, c3p0, chewbacca, princess leah, han solo, and luke skywalker as the last one. But in reality, disney would have put rey in as the last one with poe, finn, rose and kylo and would have just thrown mark/luke in the middle somewhere.
After having watched a whole bunch of these, this is by FAR the most well done. The effects, the music, everything. Only thing I would have changed was to have included the new main cast in the ending set. This was amazing.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! The end group characters were selected to mirror the Endgame structure - characters who were there at the beginning of the movie universe and who wrapped up their stories in the final chapter. (With the exclusion of C-3PO and R2-D2 who didn't have Battlefront models for me to use, and ended up in the featured section instead.) So I was just trying to keep the beats the same as Endgame.
Well, when I set out to do this, I opted to match the thematic style of the Endgame credits. The 6 original Avengers were the ones who where there from the beginning, established the Universe, and then rounded out their stories in Endgame. So in that sense, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, and Lando were those characters. And had C-3PO and R2-D2 had Battelfront models, they would have been there as well. The Prequel and Sequel characters were the equivalent of the supporting and newer Avenger characters - Spider-man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, etc. who helped carry the MCU forward, and will move to more prominent roles in Phase 4 and beyond. Sadly that's probably it for Ridley, Boyega, Isaac, and crew, but in the spirit of this particular project, it had to be the OG group for the final characters to match the Endgame style.
Growing up with the original trilogy, it's hard for me not to get misty eyed knowing that there will not be any more Star Wars movies. This was absolutely perfect!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! And don't you worry, there will be plenty more Star Wars movies and series to come - just not in the "Skywalker Saga", and that's okay. The Mandalorian proves the potential for stories that take place in that universe, but not with those core characters. I'm optimistic about the possibilities, but it will be sad to see the original characters go!
Thanks! The initial music is neutral enough to work for both, but as much as I love the Avengers theme song, it doesn't feel right with Star Wars characters. Plus, John Williams needed some love too!
I will be curious to see how they wrap up the 9-movie saga, especially with the send-off for the original actors. But I also think it would have to be different in a major way for people not to feel like it's just an imitation of Endgame. Regardless, here's hoping they do it justice!
@@laurencebarnes5361 I thought it was alright. I enjoyed myself while watching the film, but I wouldn't say it was an epic or overly memorable conclusion. It felt very much like VIII spent a good deal of its time implying "forget what you thought was happening, we're doing this instead!" and this movie spent a lot of its time saying "sorry, we didn't mean that, let's go back to what we were doing before." Ultimately I think it was the best outcome we could have gotten with all the factors they were working with - the course corrections between VII and VIII, Carrie Fisher's death, the pendulum swinging fan outrage between the previous films, etc. Mostly I'm excited to see what comes next now that we're done with the Skywalker-connected stories because there's so much potential!
Thanks! I did ponder adding them as a combo sixth character to go 6 for 6 with the main Avengers, but I used Battlefront 3D characters for the silhouettes, and although I found a C-3PO mod skin of Han Solo (which didn't have the right body positioning), I couldn't even find anything comparable for R2-D2. So, they were put in the special acknowledgement section with Frank Oz, James Earl Jones, and Alec Guinness, and I think it's a fitting compromise.
Thanks! That was something I thought needed to happen. While I love the Avengers theme, it's weird to have it with Star Wars characters. The first stretch of music is neutral enough to work in both cases. I'm just glad it transitioned as well as it did, I was worried it wouldn't quite mash up tempo/key wise, but it turned out fine!
Thanks, glad you liked it! In fact, Natalie Portman is in the EXACT same spot in both my version and the Endgame version. Thought that was a nice touch. Samuel L. Jackson didn't really have the same tier role in Star Wars as the MCU, so I couldn't really match him up.
I know, right? Fun fact, Natalie Portman is in the exact same spot in both versions, I just replaced her Thor spot with the Star Wars one! But, Mace didn't have the same role in Star Wars as Nick Fury in the MCU, so Samuel's spot went to Sir Alec Guinness.
Totally! I needed some 3D models to help mimic the silhouettes in the Endgame credits, and Photoshopped stills just weren't going to cut it. This gave a little bit of movement to imitate their movement and some dramatic lighting as a bonus! Just took a little rotoscoping to cut them out of the backgrounds.
Try CC Radial Fast Blur. I'm working on putting together a tutorial video now that will show how I did everything, although I'm on an older version of AE, so they may have shifted things around a bit between my CS5.5 and the current CC version.
I tried to keep it beat for beat with the original, so the same number of characters, although I kind of cheated on the three-name cards by making two of them four-name cards. Unfortunately that meant some characters didn't make the main cut (Panaka, Tycho, Baby Boba, Lobot, etc.) but the same is true for the Avengers version. A little bonus easter egg - Natalie Portman is in the same position in both my version and the original. I thought about the same for Samuel L. Jackson, but Alec Guinness was definitely deserving of that place of honor over Mace Windu. I did consider several of the names you suggested, but opted for other more prominent or recurring characters.
Best Star Wars Credits I've seen. Can you tell me which platform (app) you used to make this? I was thinking of making one of these for Game of Thrones
Thanks! I hadn't seen any others that really honed in on the look of the original, so I told my students I'd give it a shot to see what I could figure out. I used Adobe After Effects for this one, and an old version at that(CS5.5), so odds are the CC version might make this even easier. A couple of tips to head you in the right direction - 1) I used Adobe Devanagari for the font, it seemed to match pretty well. 2) For the names, you want to keyframe animate the tracking to get that "spreading out" look. It's under the Animate button in the Text dropdown under your layer. 3) For the light streaks I used CC Radial Fast Blur. I actually duplicated each piece of footage, placed one above an adjustment layer, and one below. The one below is what generates the light streaks, the one above I put to a screen or sometimes overlay mode (if it was a particularly bright clip) to bring back in some of the detail so it's not too blurry or washed out. Hopefully that gets you a good start! Feel free to ask more questions if you have them.
I do appreciate that Disney, while absorbing all these other companies, largely lets them do their own things without too much micromanaging. But it would be nice to see them pull out the stops for the saga enders like these.
This would’ve been amazing but ngl, I don’t feel it should’ve been the OG cast with the signatures. I feel it should’ve been Hayden, Mark, Daisy, Ewan, Adam, and Harrison
I think everyone has their own preference in terms of order and characters, but in my case I chose to try and stick with the spirit of the Endgame credits. In that case, the final 6 actors were the ones who were there from the beginning of the series and concluded their stories at the end. Hayden, Daisy, Ewan, and Adam are all fantastic, but they came in later to the series or didn't appear in the other two trilogies, so fit in more with the newer Avengers characters who were at the earlier section of the Endgame credits.
No way I could have done it without acknowledging Prowse! And I was also pleasantly surprised how well it transitioned into the John Williams music because it just didn't seem right to end it with the Avengers theme. Glad you enjoyed it!
Should I be ashamed that this is the first time I've ever heard of David Prowse? Because all these years, I assumed it was James Earl Jones wearing the suit.
That's pretty common. Prowse was largely a character actor playing physically commanding roles that were often covered heavily in makeup - like oldschool movie monsters. But his voice is a super British sounding proper voice, not the commanding presence of Jones, which is why Lucas brought him in to dub the audio. You can find BTS footage with Prowse's dialogue still in place to hear for yourself. But don't feel ashamed, you learned something, so consider it a win!
Great job! I love how seamlessly the music bridges from Silvestri to Williams. I got chills! Thanks for explaining why R2 and C-3PO didn't make the final montage; that makes sense. And the last powerful bit where Luke's lightsaber ignites just as the music ends and the screen cuts to black? (Jedi mind trick) I'm not crying; you're crying.
You're not crying, I'm crying.... wait, what just happened? Glad you liked it! I was pleased with the music transition too. Wasn't sure how that was going to work out with the key and whatnot, but it ended up sounding great! Again, really wish there had been models for those two and I'd have put them there in a heartbeat.
Well, I won't rule it out, but time is the critical piece to that plan. My full time job is teaching a high school film program, and I do freelance video work on the side, so already the schedule is limited, and then my kids need a good portion of my time, so.... might have to wait a while to get around to more of these. :D If I was going to do another, Harry Potter could be a contender as my wife is a big fan of the series. The trick is finding decent 3D models for the silhouettes at the end!
Trying to keep it the same timing as the Endgame credits, I had to limit how many characters i could fit in, so I had to stick to sort of the main characters of the 9-film Skywalker Saga. But Clone Wars is pretty awesome. It could probably have a credit sequence like this just to itself!

I debated a lot on the order, but ultimately tried to stick to what Endgame did - start with the newer supporting type characters, then drift into ones from earlier films that are maybe more notable actors (e.g. the Prequel actors) then circle back to the OG characters and end with the characters who started and ended it all. Glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you liked it! Hands down if there had been a Battlefront model of C-3PO that wasn't just a reskin of Han Solo (the posture wasn't right) I would have added him and R2 to the final list too. Maybe they'll release an update and I can do a Special Edition. 😉

@@daveweisser Aw man reallyy!!! Thank you so much, this its going to be so useful for me and also for a lot of other people. Really appreciate it. Thanks man
Thanks! I veered a little more on the side of using actual faces for most, as the Endgame credits went even further into focusing on arc reactors or props, but I thought it was a good compromise. Glad you liked it!
I just came from another video saying I don't like changing over the theme from Main on End to Star Wars and I still don't love it, but this was a better executed transition as it wasn't done on the crescendo. Also, the visuals were A+.
Well, I appreciate you being able to see the value in it, even if it wasn't your personal preference - I wish more people weighed things that way! 😉 I really just thought it was weird to have the Avengers theme under Star Wars characters, especially with how much great music John Williams created for that series. So I opted to change it up. And while I was originally worried it wouldn't transition smoothly, it blended a lot better than I thought it would! And glad you liked the visuals, seeing how some previous attempts hadn't quite hit the visual mark is what inspired me to give it a shot myself. If nothing else, hopefully my version and tutorial helped up the game for everyone else who wants to make an "in the Endgame style" credits sequence!
@@daveweisser Portals is a rather immaculate musical piece for this, though I think the full Star Wars theme actually could work. I heard someone wish Williams and Silvestri would team up, I'm not sure I can recall such composers collaborating on any film though.
@@3Rayfire Yeah, the first stretch had a pretty neutral, almost "In Memoriam" feel to it, so I thought it worked still. But the end had to be Star Wars. And a Silvestri/Williams team up would be AMAZING.
Yeah, I wanted something that matched the lighting and movement of the silhouettes in the Endgame credits, and Photoshopped stills didn't cut it. But a little Rotoscoping work and the Battlefront models worked great - nice dramatic lighting, a little bit of movement, and I think they look pretty decent!
FINALLY! Someone who understand that if you're going to make a "Endgame" style credit sequence you don't have to use Endgame music all the way through! Nice touch with the autographs and using Battlefront Models. It actually makes it look more like Endgame.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! I definitely thought a music shift was needed. I mean, the Avengers theme is epic, but it feels wrong to see Star Wars characters and not hear a Williams fanfare.
Well, they didn't actually have the sound at that moment in the Endgame credits. If you waited until the very end of the credits you got the hammer on the anvil sound of him pounding out the metal for the Mark I, but not when the helmet closed. Otherwise, yes, I totally would have gone that route! I suppose they could have done Vader breathing at the end of the actual credits, which I think they did after one of the prequels, if I remember correctly.
Nemo Montages, how about u learn to respect other people’s opinions u "fan", as though you can make a better trilogy. U hated the prequels and Lucas and now u love him and the prequels. No, u r just another toxic fan and btw, he put Ridley there because like Endgame, he put all the new characters who closed the franchise in the beginning.
@@joeyjerry1586 First of all I was born with the prequels and I loved all the 6 movies never hated the prequals. Second There was Don Cheadle as first in Endgame which is a secondary character just like Rey failed to be a Primary Character with the trilogy. Third, I didn't blame Daisy Ridley, she is a fine actress, I love her but because of the fail of JJ Abrams I hate the character and just like Don Cheadle's character she is where she deserves. Fourth, if you can't see the theatretical difference between the Sequel and the other movies, that's not my problem. If all the movies were just based on people watching it then all the movies could get an oscar.
Nemo Montages, first, finally someone who really likes the prequels. Second, creator literally said in a comment somewhere that’s how he did it and thirdly , just let people enjoy the sequels. Some people really like them. I honestly like the sequels and what’s up with "good star wars fan". Are u saying that people who like the sequels aren’t fans ‘cause if that’s the case, that is the sign of a toxic SW fans. Sorry but learn to respect other people’s opinions ‘cause it’s not objective.
You actually keep 2 or 3 names in the same spot before moving to another spot. Just like Endgame, so our eyes don't move all over the place when reading. A small detail no other videos like this seem to do. Excellent!
Just matching with the Endgame credits - has to be the characters who were there at the beginning and completed their arcs in the final chapter. Daisy is the equivalent of the new crop of Avengers who will carry the MCU into Phase 4 and beyond, and they were the first up in the Endgame credits.
Valid point, but in an actor/role comparison, Mark Hamill was there from the beginning and will be there at the end - like RDJ. Hayden was in two movies, so doesn't really match the RDJ arc over the entire Infinity Saga.
Omg I love how the last 3 character shots were that of the original 3 star wars actors... And the last shot of Mark Hamil reaching his hand up in air in slow motion and catching the light saber and igniting it, revealing the color to be GREEN, was ALWAYS my absolute favorite part out the entire orginal trilogy... 1st because I remember the first time I saw that... I remember being 6 yrs old and not thinking that light sabers could be any other colors besides blue for good guys and red for bad guys.... 2nd was because Green was always my favorite color... I was slightly color blind growing up, I use to sometimes think the green traffic lights looked more blueish than it did green... I liked the color Green because in my mind it was such a hard color to decipher except maybe with plants and trees... It took me a couple years of practice and concentration to decipher my blues from my greens meticulously... My mother's eyes were brown, my father's eyes were blue, but I was confused to what my eye colors were in the mirror... They looked brown, but mom & dad said they were more Green than brown... Obviously as I got older I was able to decipher what the color "Hazel" was... But at 6 yrs old it was still kinda hard... then I remembered us going to the video store and we bought some Lazer discs for our Lazer discs player... I remember seeing the front cover for Return of the Jedi and thought to myself... "Omg a new star wars movie!" Technically it was already about 3 or 4 years old, I just never seen this one, I only watched the first Star Wars from 77 continuously, and remembering some bits & pieces of Yoda training with Luke and Luke getting his hand cut off from ”Empire"... But I was 6 yrs old, so my linear continuity wasn't my strongest suit... Anyway... We bought some Lazer discs... Took them home... Begged my mom could we watch the new Star Wars Lazer disc... She was like okay sure, because she was curious as to what happens in this movie as well... She had heard it had a lot of walking talking Teddy Bears in it lmao 😂 anyway... We put the movie on... About 20 mins into it as they were getting ready to get lowered into the sand pit monster and Luke had to walk the plank... My mom says "he's gonna need his laser sword to get out of this situation" and I said "he can't he lost it when Dark Vader cut his hand off mom remember" she was like... "Oh right... well... He's gonna need a new one then” and as soon as she said that R2D2 shot the new lightsaber up in the air and Luke turned around on the plank and propelled himself into the air with a somersault and reached his hand out to catch a brand new lightsaber and ignigted it and revealed the color to be GREEN???!!!! OMFG!!!!! MY EYES OPENED WIDE AND I SCREAMED AND SAID... "LOOK MOM ITS GREEN!! ITS GREEN!!! I KNOW MY COLORS MOM THAT'S GREEN!!" She was like... ”yes baby that's Green very good" lmao... My mouth was dropped the rest of the scene.... That was my favorite Star Wars scene and my favorite Star Wars memory... That scene changed my life when it came having an imagination... I'll never forget it... Im a 38 yr old grown ass man with kids of my own and I fucking cried when I watched the ending to this fan made Star Wars Endgame style tribute.... Thank you ❤️
I never really thought about the fact that this shot was the first time we see a green saber in the original trilogy, but you're right! I think Adam should be there as well
Me too
Hahaha Daisy Ridley?
Daisy ridley only cuz she a little nvm she is just cute
I like how he used battlefront 2 characters as the ending
Thanks! They were kind of a lucky break in figuring out how to emulate the movement and lighting in the silhouettes from the Endgame credits. Just had to rotoscope them out of their backgrounds!
This is what the end credits of
“Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” should have been like!!!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
This would be good but the movie was to bad

5. James earl jones
4. Alec guiness
3. Ewan mcgregor
2. Harrison ford
1. Mark hamill
All good choices!
Ya really gonna do Hayden Christianson like that
EvilDrHobbes he’s underrated and did a decent job with what he was given
It should be r2d2, c3p0, chewbacca, princess leah, han solo, and luke skywalker as the last one. But in reality, disney would have put rey in as the last one with poe, finn, rose and kylo and would have just thrown mark/luke in the middle somewhere.
Ravi Productions what about haden?
Alan Silvestri along with John Williams is a good composers to make this video. I really love it.
Both are amazing, so putting them together was even better!
Honestly the most effort I've seen put into one of these Endgame-styled credits sequences. Top notch work!
Thanks! It was a challenge, but fun overall just to see if I could do it. Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the best endgame style credits I have seen. Animations are perfect, there are no mistakes with the names and the order of the names logical.
Thanks! Glad you liked it, and that you appreciated the order of the names - I actually put a lot of planning into that!

This is how you give tribute to the greatest hero cinema has ever known
Glad you liked it!
I hope they do this for TROS but also include the prequel characters in as the end with the original trilogy characters
I think they knew that the movie wasn't exciting enough for that.
@Zachary Williams From a non-diegetic perspective, you're right that the original characters are more important than the prequel characters.
I gotchu! 😉
to those who watched this video may the force be with you all.
I cry every time i see kylo/ben. I don't realize hes gone.... :(
Ben Solo - Forever in our hearts.
@@daveweisser we never forgett him ;(
Growing up with the original trilogy, it's hard for me not to get misty eyed knowing that there will not be any more Star Wars movies.
This was by far my favorite one
Because you had the right music
Thanks! The initial music is neutral enough to work for both, but as much as I love the Avengers theme song, it doesn't feel right with Star Wars characters. Plus, John Williams needed some love too!
This is the Chosen One. May the Force be with you
Thanks! And with you as well!
Damn this was perfect, the lighting, the music, and the images were so nostalgic, and I’m thinking of this as the credits for rise of Skywalker
Glad you liked it!
This is what I love about Star Wars fans.
Where the studios fail, we succeed.
Oh my gosh this is amazing I’m gonna cry 😍
Glad you like it!
I cried when I saw the Endgame credits at the theatre and still do every single time I see them again on RUclips

Natalie and Samuel are legends because they got credits in marvel and star wars
It's true, they are the crossovers. And Natalie is in the exact same spot in both versions of the credits!
@@daveweisser oh yeah noticed that too
Really hope they do something like this for TROS
I will be curious to see how they wrap up the 9-movie saga, especially with the send-off for the original actors. But I also think it would have to be different in a major way for people not to feel like it's just an imitation of Endgame. Regardless, here's hoping they do it justice!
I will be ready for back to the Future end credits end game style, and the lion King 1994 end credits end game style.
@@daveweisser so after you watched it, what do you think about the movie?
@@nilesclifford1544 You should totally try it out and do those! I'll be posting a tutorial soon(ish) that should help you get started.
The is by far the best version of this I have seen.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
If there was a way to send off the Skywalker saga it would be like this. Amazing job
Thanks! Even if they didn't give us an official one, we, the fans, can still send it off in our own way.
This 49 year old man cried like a baby thank you I have been die hard star wars fan at the age of 6 in 1977
Glad it brought you some enjoyment!
I love this! The only change I’d have made was Anthony Daniels (and maybe also Kenny baker) should have been in the ending
I love how your are the first one I seen using endgame credits but at the end switching to star wars theme rather than avengers theme. Brilliant.
Best version I've seen, congrats!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Take a moment of realisation that some of the actors have been in both franchises. Also that was an epic work!
Thanks, glad you liked it! In fact, Natalie Portman is in the EXACT same spot in both my version and the Endgame version. Thought that was a nice touch. Samuel L. Jackson didn't really have the same tier role in Star Wars as the MCU, so I couldn't really match him up.
"Natalie Portman"
"Samuel L. Jackson"
Now where have I seen these two before?
I know, right? Fun fact, Natalie Portman is in the exact same spot in both versions, I just replaced her Thor spot with the Star Wars one! But, Mace didn't have the same role in Star Wars as Nick Fury in the MCU, so Samuel's spot went to Sir Alec Guinness.
@@daveweisser Hm. Nice touch.
I'm not a fan of Star Wars, but I love these well-put-together Endgame ending cards.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I love that you used the Star Wars music at the end
I thought John Williams needed some recognition too. 😉 Plus, as much as I love the Avengers theme, it just doesn't quite fit for a Star Wars movie.
I love how you used the battlefront menu 😂
One of the most well done Endgame style credits out there. Very good job bud
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
What effect did you use to get the straight rays of light? I tried CC Light Burst 2.5 but all the rays shine outward from a single point
Try CC Radial Fast Blur. I'm working on putting together a tutorial video now that will show how I did everything, although I'm on an older version of AE, so they may have shifted things around a bit between my CS5.5 and the current CC version.
Every single shot choice was 👌🏻
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
You should add Richard E. Grant, Naomi Ackie, Billie Lourd, Max Von Sydow and Keri Russell in it.
This was amazing work! I flat-out started to tear up a bit when the music switched from the Avengers score to the Star Wars score.
Glad you enjoyed it! That music changeover was one of my favorite parts of this project.
A couple of tips to head you in the right direction -
1) I used Adobe Devanagari for the font, it seemed to match pretty well.
Gave me chills. Well done, good sir!
Thanks, glad you liked!
I would have cried if this happened.
Disney should just have this be a trope of theirs, and they do it at “the end of an era”
I do appreciate that Disney, while absorbing all these other companies, largely lets them do their own things without too much micromanaging. But it would be nice to see them pull out the stops for the saga enders like these.
I love you started with Rey and ended it with Luke like how they showed in Endgame credits the new avengers first and then ended with the OGs
Yes! You caught that I followed their character structure! Well done!
@@daveweisser 😄
Indeed. Just like the Endgame credits featured the six OG cast of the MCU, the OG cast of Star Wars imo perfectly fits here in the end
Wow. One that's actually well made and not awkwardly strung together. Very nice job.
Not gonna lie, those awkwardly strung-together ones are what prompted me to create this in the first place. Glad you liked it!
James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader
David Prowse: Am I a joke to you?
Definitely wanted to make sure they both got their due, since both were important to the essence of Vader!
i saw this in my recommended page and told myself i wasn’t gonna cry.. you succeeded in making me sob like a baby. thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for putting a credit for David Prowse in there! Nice segue into the original, classic, John Williams STAR WARS overture!
I would cry 😭 and scream at the same time if I saw this in theaters! Hayden and Ewan!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This fits with star wars as it does with avengers.
Glad you like it!
THIS IS EVERYTHING!!!
Glad you liked it!
Please stop saying that. It’s so stupid.
One of the guys that actually nails the looks and feels of the endgame credits
Thank you!
@@daveweisser Hopefully you can recreate this look for other franchises as well, any sequels set?
May I humbly suggest Harry Potter and the Fast & Furious franchises
Well, I won't rule it out, but time is the critical piece to that plan. My full time job is teaching a high school film program, and I do freelance video work on the side, so already the schedule is limited, and then my kids need a good portion of my time, so.... might have to wait a while to get around to more of these. :D If I was going to do another, Harry Potter could be a contender as my wife is a big fan of the series. The trick is finding decent 3D models for the silhouettes at the end!
Take your time with your work, looking forward to your next productions

You Should’ve Put All The Skywalkers (Rey,Kylo,Leia,Luke, Vader And Anakin) At The Last 5 But This Was Great
I debated a lot on the order, but ultimately tried to stick to what Endgame did - start with the newer supporting type characters, then drift into ones from earlier films that are maybe more notable actors (e.g. the Prequel actors) then circle back to the OG characters and end with the characters who started and ended it all. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@daveweisser Gonna watch this a lot. Kinda feeling like Anthony Daniels has more 'skin in the game' than Billy Dee Williams though.
Glad you liked it! Hands down if there had been a Battlefront model of C-3PO that wasn't just a reskin of Han Solo (the posture wasn't right) I would have added him and R2 to the final list too. Maybe they'll release an update and I can do a Special Edition. 😉
i agree but replace rey with han.

So I would love it u could make a video with the details on how to do it.
I'm pondering a tutorial, but with a full teaching schedule and my own kids, it's an issue of time. I've posted some tips in the comments below, so start with those regarding font, how to get the light streaks look, etc. I did everything in After Effects, so my techniques are all based on that. @@daveweisser Aw man reallyy!!! Thank you so much, this its going to be so useful for me and also for a lot of other people. Really appreciate it. Thanks man
JOB WELL DONE. Seriously bro you took good abstract shots just like the Endgame credits. JUST BRILLIANT

Thanks! Definitely wanted to make sure Carrie got some extra fanfare for her badass damsel not in distress performance.
Anyone else notice he uses the pics from Battlefront for the main characters at the end? Cool!
@@daveweisser nice
This is so well done. And that music transition was smooth!
Thanks! I wasn't sure how seamlessly it would transition, but was pleasantly surprised when it did so well!
Goodbye to Skywalker saga...
Indeed! But there's much more Star Wars content to come, and a lot of potential for some quality, Mandalorian-esque, content!
What’ve been pretty cool if, at the end with Luke, the lightsaber sound played when he turned his lightsaber on, like with Iron Man’s helmet clank
I love that Daisy Ridley is at the start and isn't with the important characters

The second Daisy's name was up first, I instantly knew who was gonna be the ones with the signatures.
Just matching with the Endgame credits - has to be the characters who were there at the beginning and completed their arcs in the final chapter. Daisy is the equivalent of the new crop of Avengers who will carry the MCU into Phase 4 and beyond, and they were the first up in the Endgame credits.
In my opinion Hayden Christensen should have gotten RDJ's spot considering Star Wars is about the Rise, Fall, and Redemption of Anakin Skywalker
Valid point, but in an actor/role comparison, Mark Hamill was there from the beginning and will be there at the end - like RDJ. Hayden was in two movies, so doesn't really match the RDJ arc over the entire Infinity Saga.
I think David Earl Jones and Hayden Christensen should have got co spots at 1 and Luke at 2, but amazing video.
this deserves more views
It's picking up steam now! Thanks for watching!
I primarily chose it because it was a cool shot, but it's awesome that it has such a strong personal connection for you. Thanks for sharing your story, and I'm glad my work could bring you some enjoyment!
