Love how we all collectively agree mori is doing this and pretending to choose between the kids to mess with dazai (no matter how much bad of an actor he is) anf dazai just having none of it - i mean why would mori choose them when he actively tried getting dazai to come back? Unless this is some punishment to hold against dazai (like a hostage) then yeah they can take the kids.
I like the idea that mori was going to chose someone like kyouka or atsushi and Dazai volunteered cause he didn’t want them to go through the torture (him having a huge mental battle then realizing that he’s doing what oda asked and saving orphans from the pain of the pm)
I watched this when it first came out. And Everytime I want my daily dose of angst, I just return here to rewatch it. Why? Cause I love this concept sm. And honestly, I love torturing myself :3 /j

Tbh I know its highly unlikely that dazai wouldnt join the PM (bcz mori is scared of him blah blah blah) but then again the only reason I find dazai would volunteer is because he knows that the other members most likely will not withstand the PM measures. BUT MY FAVOURITE THEORY (not technically a theory I js like LOVE THIS) *if mori made the ADA members to choose the person to be taken into the PM* I love this SM
