The movie was about what happens to the brain when you get to much sun, and every day life in Australia. I think the actors have found it difficult to find work?

The leaves of the trees, by placing a ziplock baggy around each leaf, condensation d supposed enough water for one to walk out

And travelling without ANY reserve water or communication. (only idiots do this)
And no reserve supply (other than water tank; nonsense)

Great movie for them kiids bein runaways and theifs they were calm kids just stuck in a terrible situation and took it well i like how they all came together there was no violence or anything they blended in well together

I think they should have focused more on the main character the tree?
Few of us have been in such a situation where extreme survival techniques are paramount, I would have preferred a story which included just that. Desert settings are still interesting. It's a blank canvas where emotions are raw, & feelings are real, not self-serving for personal greed. Respect to the actors & crew that suffered for their art. In the U.K Ray Mears is an extreme survival expert. He's even taught indigenous tribes how to naturally create fire from very little, where that skill had been forgotten. Mears can be found on Y.T
Why isn't Ray the leading man in this movie ?

@@johnorourke2279 Not sure whether this would be his thing. I read how he taught Ffyona Campbell survival skills before she set off at the tender age of 16 over 11 years to walk 19,586 miles raising £120K for charity. That's extreme dedication.
He is a puffed up git. He doesnt survive ! he has expensive knives, tents, weapons.. put him in a place with no expensive knives or crew and tell him to catch his food.. NO WAY.. SAME WITH BEAR GRYLLS.. A JOKE
Really great movie! Ending unknown is frustrating.
I thought this was a great idea for a film and the story was good up till about half way through, then it became a bit unbelievable but I enjoyed most of it. Because its mostly set in one place with only 4 characters it could be adapted for the theatre. Thanks for sharing it
Certainly enjoyed this film, though I like watching pretty much anything having to do with the Australian Outback. A little hard to follow at first, the acting was quite good and the scenery spectacular. There's a few points of real suspense in the film, and I have to agree with some critics that the storyline was not plausible. Still, I found it an entertaining, feel-good movie which I'd probably enjoy more on second viewing, now that I better understand the opening. The ending leaves you hanging: do these characters, who you've come to appreciate the humanity of, survive or not? One can only hope....
If u have little water, u wouldn't stay in the middle of the Outback . U wouldnt puncture a hole in a truck, or leave the keys in it. I liked it though.

This movie is strange in that the mining company deliverer will go missing so in the end the mining company send help since the deliverer went missing its only common sense to send another truck looking for him.this movie has no solid premise.

Waste a lot of time with very little water, get the gas from the car to the truck, one person takes all the water and goes for help. The other stay under shade and not wasting energy. Maybe one person survives.🤣

With all due respect, they were way too friendly with the runaways, especially since they stole his truck, broke her computer and wasted precious water. That part isn t very realistic, sorry to say.

I don't think its a brilliantly film cause i don't believe people can trust others not to steal their water while others is fall asleep, they show peace, love, no fighting, no greed, it's not the truly inside of a human being, when a person are forced to the edge of death, they will show their darkest side of their soul because the instinct of surviving.
I would give it a 3 out of 10.

I've seen many movies that are worse. The acting was quite good with an ending that was inevitable. Imagination was a bit stretched to see them still able to react to one another considering they should have died days before . I felt thirsty with them, TBH. lol

I may not be a scientist but I'm pretty sure that if you poured all the liquid in an open bucket and kept it out in the open in that heat and climate that it would dry out and be gone in hours. Probably not a good idea!
Doest it not rain in the desert? I am waiting for rain ,I hope it did rain heavily and they survived and that dug down place got filled as well like a small pool of water . And then one day an air plane was flying over them and using the gun shot they signaled the air plane and gor rescued . Upon their arrival they were contacted with media , and a movie was made ,a book was written and they became wealthy as well and comedian guy performs ,the Russian lady found the intergalactic rocks , Zac and her friend opened a child care home where they help foster children to grow into a good human being...❤

Yeah, I’m not buying that. Anyone would choose to stay out, sitting in the sun while without any water, and then do physical activities, such as playing and what not pretty lame, but I like the concept of the movie and the actors in it so far anyways.

Thats it. Im going to become a screenwriter. I couldnt do worse than whoever came up with this garbage. This premise could have went in many other, better directions. The acting and directing was pretty good, but that script is lacking to say the least.
It all got absolutely ridiculous at the end when they gave up their last bit of water to wash a rock with!
