WE don't have chain stores in Oak View, The Taco Bell and Starbucks you show is in the neighboring town of Mira Monte. Not sure where you two are from, but not local. Oak View has several locally owned restaurants with really Great food and also several locally owned grocery stores, feed store and salons! It is really is a great community to live in. Thank you for showing off our little town.

I grew up in oak view and moved in 1998. I miss the Oak View area alot.
It really is a special place. We will be doing more videos on this area after we finish an over view of all of Ventura. Is there anything you would like us to check out for you and see if it is still there or how it has changed? We know what it is like to walk down memory lane:)

I live in Oak View

What is your opinion of the 225 E. Warner Street property and neighborhood for retirees?
I believe this home is located in Ventura on the West side. Ventura has a lot of people retiring there because of the wonderful weather and activities. Since the West side is so close to downtown Ventura, many residents walk down to the farmers market, ride their bike down to the surfers point or enjoy art activities at the Bell Arts. Our clients find that if they volunteer and join one or more of the many groups in this area they are very happy. We always recommend that people check out the crime map and make sure they feel comfortable with an area. www.communitycrimemap.com/. We love the West side and many of our clients do too. it’s not very cool of you to bash on a place that you clearly don’t and have never lived in. You don’t know what it’s actually like. It’s also not cool to be filming people’s front yards and talking trash about how they do or don’t maintain them. Up here in the valley many people love to let their yards be wild because that’s what nature intended. A perfectly manicured lawn isn’t most people’s goal here. Especially after the amazingly wet winter we had.
