I love scorpions! When I go down to Florida I want to look for some because I have never seen one in the wild. I keep praying mantis as pets and I have a snake as well.
The volunteer saying he never saw a scorpion once when they just finished showing people yards and homes infested with them is funny. I`m staying put in Canada thank you very much.
that's good business, get paid hundreds of dollars to collect bark scorpions, then they can turn around and sell the scorpions to collectors for $10-$15 each.
I was stung in Tucson AZ it came up my shower drain and went into a towel, my arm was completely numb for two days. I found out it was from the drain because I saw another crawl up two weeks later, so sprayed with repellent. OUCH!
You're lucky. My first house that I lived in for two years never had any scorpion. At my new house I kill from 1-5/day in my back yard, and that's with getting my house sprayed every 2 months. They are nasty SOBs
Yess!! I went on vacation this week to Scottsdale. And I found like 4 on my first day. I am from Washington so I freaked out since I am not use to finding scorpions and snakes. We were considering moving but thankful we went prior.
Anthony Rodriguez not in my hotel but my husbands parents moved down to Arizona we wanted to see if it was worth the move. It’s really hot which is no problem for us since most homes have pools and AC. Plus living cost is affordable you can get a way better home there with more space then what you can get in Seattle. But I am scared of anything that crawls. You will come across scorpions for sure if you plan to move. A lot of people use these types of services shown above. But still it’s not enough. Thankfully we were able to see them I even saw one with babies on her back. They are very gross. It really is your decision I feel every state has there own problems I guess here in Seattle there is a rat problem but never have seen one. I know people who also live in AZ who have never seen any.
@@wendyvasquez4945 yeah, I get that. Every state has something. I just hate snakes and scorpions. The part about being hot has never bother me. I prefer that over the rough winter's we have here in Chicago. Well, thanks for ur input. There is always other places, but like u also mentioned one the attractions for me was that I can get more for my money there, compare to where I live now.
Honestly no. Scorpions are venomous but if you find one in your house then get tweezers and put it in a jar. Scorpions can't climb really smooth glass. I'm only 13 years old and have been studying tjem for my whole life. I have seen around 10 in my house this past month and have never been stung. Keep in mind they have poor eyesight and most likely not even trying to come in your house.
I go out once a week in the yard with a black light to hunt. Kill about 2 per week. Creepy little buggers. Found 3 in my house last year. Terrible heebie-jeebies. Gonna get a chicken ( the best scorpion predator).
I’ve lived in Arizona all my life and my brother and I find it fun to go out during the night with a black light and a hammer. We find about five every night and one in our house everyday during the summer. They are gross. We killed one with about 100 babies on its back yesterday.
iriss because those baby scorpions have the worst sting and could potentially kill you, especially if you have an allergic reaction or are elderly. Babies are especially vulnerable
Wow....dude is really making money just black light hunting and not using pesticides ? I understand we need to be good to the environments but ALL pesticides PLUS hunting is imperative for family safety!
I live in Arizona and I catch them and keep them as pets
lexiking1 lol
Why
Many people in Az do
U better milk them
Same
There are even scorpions in Italy. I was hiking on Mount Subasio in the Umbria region and at night I found them crawling around.
They are everywhere! Except for too cold places like Antarctica!

I would love to live in AZ. Free scorpions and tarantulas for my collection!

You're lucky. My first house that I lived in for two years never had any scorpion. At my new house I kill from 1-5/day in my back yard, and that's with getting my house sprayed every 2 months. They are nasty SOBs
All i have to do is get a glue trap and put it in my laundryrooms bathroom
I'm moving to Arizona, should I be worry about scorpions? Those Arizona have a big problem with scorpions and snake.

creepy glow...they can feel you grabbing at them...this is sad
How you would rather have them live in your home? It looks like they don't even kill them out right.
I find them I am not scared because I got stunk so I just step on them
People call 911 when they get stung? When I got stung I just slept on it
Depends what you get stung by though
Bark scorpions u call 911.
Why live in Arizona with all these scorpions in the homes...just move!
