My favorite song. I played it when sewing my sons cloths in 1994. We were pretty poor but I was the happiest I've ever been. I love this song. My plants and cat love this song. My son is 29 now. Probably doing well because I tried. All the time. Sewed, cooked, held his hand, probably overprotective. At least he felt I cared. He's a very good man now. I should introduce this song to him again.

It was a study in relationships and grief, healing and forgiving. Just the opening notes and it takes my breath.

The dance is about intense, concerted, and fierce passion. Almost as if both dancers are fighting over who will steal the first kiss in a world where receiving the first kiss means that the receiver is somehow lesser than the one who gives the first kiss, and all of that under the glare of the bullfight arena lights and audience. I'm more than sure that makes no sense, but it's about the best way I can describe any Tango I've ever seen, including this very sensual one. Like another commenter said: This is the last dance at the end of time. They know their passion for each other; their passion for life, and that as long as their dancing, that last grain of sand won't land on the mountain of time; and they are savouring each moment, stretching those moments to savour each other and to hold that last moment so that it might never end. At least, that's how I understand the Tango.

Sorry, but this is like someone trying to tango to Pachabel's Canon. It ruins both the dance and the music. The two just don't go together.
