- This is how and when every Nigerian president died and their last words. After our coup series, we decided to take a look at how and when each and every Nigerian president died, and where possible their last words before they died. In this video, let’s find out how and when each and every Nigerian president died and their last words.
As you all know, death is inevitable. So if you are watching this video then congratulation for being alive and probably well. However, while you and I are here today, many of our leaders have passed to the great beyond. Some died of natural causes while others were assassinated.

I’m an American citizen who has never knew abt the politics of Nigeria but I’m learning . I must say I was totally enthralled with the last statement of President Nnamdi Benjamin Azikiwe , This man was a True leader bcus at the end of his life he sought Almighty God for the refuge of his soul!!! That’s awesome and I’m sure The Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob heard his petition. How wonderful ❤ thank you for sharing this video . May This great man Soul Rest In Peace❤

@@LisaJJohnson In May 1966, General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi, Nigeria’s first military head of state promulgated the infamous Decree No. 34 of 1966, the “unification decree.” The decree effectively did away with the federal system of government practised by Nigeria since its independence from British colonial rule in 1960. In its place, the general instituted a unitary system of government as a way of discouraging “tribal loyalties and activities which promote tribal consciousness and sectional interests and which must give way to the urgent task of national reconstruction.” The decree suspended aspects of the Nigerian constitution and, with it, the military government arrogated to itself wide discretionary powers. Unknown to the general, the effects of this decree would reverberate well into Nigeria’s sixtieth year as an independent nation.

Best NIGERIA president Umir Musa yar-Adua.... And that's a very good prayer by Nnamdi Azikwe, and he was the one who signed for one NIGERIA that's causing problems on Nigerians today... He had the opportunity to sign for separation instead he signed one NIGERIA and the one NIGERIA that Zik signed for, is now hurting NIGERIANS and most especially his own Igbo people today..
The present problems of NIGERIA is the gross mistake from the old leaders of NIGERIA and the Britain during the Independence..
God help NIGERIA Amen...

You can still visit Nigeria. It is not as bad as many make out. With regards the leaders...they cannot love a country that was created by foreigners in the case the British. And you believe it??
Can you imagine the first president becoming the last? Hmmm 😕 all because of the tribe. What I find out in this country is until they remove tribalism in this Nigeria 🇳🇬 this country is not going anywhere. Thank you for sharing
That is not true...in this business, that is done to keep people watching till the end of the video. It has nothing to do with tribe, religion or other pecuniary considerations usually associated with Nigerians. Viewers from all the 3 major ethnic groups hv accused me of favoring one or the other or belonging to one or the other but I'm please and happy that I'm not from any of the major ethnic groups.
