I have a grandfather who is in his 70s, raised in the southern US and the bit where you guys talked about the AIDS issue really struck a cord. My grandpa found out my best friend was a gay man (in like 2019), and he started crying (never seen him cry) because he was so horrified I would have contracted AIDS. This is how deep the whole propaganda on the matter ran during that time. Its been 20 years or more and despite him being a caring and accepting person, his lack of education and inability to relearn some stuff has lead him to never be able to let go of the falsehood that only gay people get and spread HIV/AIDS. For the record, he's not conservative (in the way we would describe it in modern terms).
yeah my grandmother was of the same perspective and also wasn't Conservative in her other views. I tried to press her on it and she knew she couldn't explain her point of view beyond just being told that was the case over and over so I saw first hand the realisation reaching her that she'd just been making this very specific, incorrect assumption about a group of people for decades.
Great point towards the deeper issues that actually effect us that the media ignores, i.e. money over race, education over propaganda. Thank you for sharing.

And it's not just important for the people there because rebuilding powerful unions might be the only realistic way for us to fight the corporate denomination of our society. Amazon is probably the most critical non-union company in the country according to union organizers who look at this sort of thing, and unionizinunionizing there could really change the country for the better (and also get you a big pay raise).
Yeah I'm glad he said that. Muscle dysmorphia or bigorexia as its sometimes called is a very real thing that isn't taken seriously enough. It's weird how people dont see someone like Hasan saying he wants to go on steroids despite having an addictive personality to help him get down to a low enough body fat percentage to have a six pack whle still having big muscles as being a red flag at all.
I feel the same way sometimes thinking we are just doomed, but then I always remember, in the entire timeline of human history, slavery was not that long ago. Women having no rights wasn't long ago. My parents literally lived during segregation. Can you even imagine that? It seems bad, but we are making progress. Its hard to see since we are only exposed to our little section of history, but it is happening. Even in my childhood I never thought I would see gay marriage get legalized. Keep your chins up, we need people like you to keep fighting
Those moments of progress are great, but what we are facing now is entirely different. We have a ticking clock now in a way we never have before. The issues you mentioned took many many generations of slow incremental progress before they were finally put into the place we see them today. With climate change we do not have that luxury. We CANNOT do that. That opportunity is GONE. We have to make massive global economic/social/lifestyle shifts now, or we are all fucked. And that isn’t going to happen. I don’t see any viable path to us making the necessary changes in time. The amount of change needed is not going to come anywhere close being done in the amount of time we have to do it. Fucking buckle up and try to be glad that the majority of your life will already have been lived before this shit really goes off the cliff.
“When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their way. Their movements become headlong - faster and faster and faster. They put aside all thoughts of obstacles and forget the precipice does not show itself to the man in a blind rush until it's too late.” - Frank Herbert, Dune. Right wing politics are these people's religion. If you think I'm wrong, look at all the anti-vaxxers trying to use religious exemption to avoid taking the Covid-19 vaccine or those QAnon people singing songs in a huddle thinking people are being brought back from the dead. It's frankly ridiculous zealotry and they are somehow pulling in even moderates and otherwise reasonable people into this indoctrination. The more people are educated about these things, the more they feel that they're being oppressed and double down. It's a rough situation to be in as a country, and it's almost impossible to reverse that impact.
yeah hopefully he falls into it. he was being a bit too 'hasan while streaming' for the first few shows... same as his dates. just goes right into politics without much comedy.. but he is a funny guy. i think this show will work
As someone who’s smack dap in the middle of yee-haw trump train land, this show is helping me not feel insane, it feels good that other people out here think it’s just as insane as I do.
Bruh, its surreal. Imagine every single thing you believe not being backed up by any science or data or proof of any kind, blindly believing it and calling academia lies and propaganda while Trump and the republicans are the most obvious liars imaginable and are committing crimes every day in front of their faces and they just somehow dont see it, or choose to ignore it and just say democrats are doing everything evil and corrupt that the Republicans are actually doing right in front of their faces, but they think their side is a bunch of perfect freedom fighters trying to save America. Dear Trumpists: your side is filled with nutcase conspiracy theorists with no proof or credibility whatsoever, blue lives matter people who beat and murder cops at tge capital during your tantrum that Trump lost, (its not a false flag, hundreds of verified right wingers are in jail rn) mass shooters (there have been a couple hundred this year and you still think guns are being used to stop tyranny when you’re the tyrants who support tyrants) and white supremacists (you constantly defend them every single day, hate civil rights movements, and believe you’re not one because you dont literally wear KKK robes or Nazi garb, and you also hate feminism and LGBT people and then get angry at people calling you bigots because of it) There are also credible pedo/sexual assault scandals constantly in the republicans party and dozens against Trump alone including two underage girls but you strangely dont care and just call us all pedos every day with no proof, (Bill Clinton and Bill gates hung out with Epstein so maybe they were? Theres no proof, though. But Trump on the other hand was good friends with the guy and theres video and photo and Trump straight up admitting they’re friends and that Epstein likes young girls, and has two of Epsteins thirteen year-olds at the time accuse Trump of sodomy and assault but you ignore that AND the photos and videos of Trump with Epstein like you have tunnel vision) and also: Dangerously anti-democracy and think that democrats winning is anti-democratic because your lying conspiracy nut leaders tell you that it was stolen with dozens of investigations showing it wasnt, and democracy to you means that only your side wins, and if they dont you wanna murder a bunch of people so they can seize power, and thats actually authoritarianism. You take memes and random youtubers as fact without looking outside right wing circles of content, and are in general just hateful people that refuse to change. In the words of Trump: SAD.
Crazy too that Trump has 50 years of being an infamous liar and conman and has been busted in countless scams and yet they believe he’s somehow the only one who is telling them the truth, not the experts.
I gotta tell you as a European citizen watching these political Ads with people just shooting guns is really scary. I just can't believe how desensitized Americans are to these weapons. It's so outlandish to me...I just can't...

Sesame Street has always been pretty much incredibly educational thus 'progressive'. In my country (South Africa) as a kid our version has a main character that has HIV and AIDS. Her interaction with other characters showed that one couldn't contract it through means of simply just touching but from mother to child, it spread so much awareness. She also explained ARVs. It's been like 15 year's since I last watched an episode of the show but the social issues they covered always stuck with me even now as an adult.
I just quite my job as a package handler at fedex. They have gradually upped the pay in the last year but it doesn’t match the volume increase. I went from loading 2-3 trucks a morning to 5 and package count per truck increased from about 150 each to 250. We were so overworked we’d have to call in for exhaustion and I called in out of spite several times toward the end. I lost sooo much weight from being over worked. It was only 20 hours a week but I physically couldn’t live my life under the workload, especially while in college.
Always remember this as an employee. You sell your labor, they buy it. You do not _get_ a job, you are not _given_ a job, you sell yourself for price. Your work is a priviledged product that people must pay accordingly for.
I wanted to call in and talk about it with the crew but I couldn’t get through during the live. I know I’m just another name on the schedule to Fedex but it was disappointing to be treated that way after almost two years with them. I had to quit if I hoped to keep my grades up. I think it would be interesting to hear the crews take on how an irl warehouse worker gets treated, even if it’s not me who calls in.

You must be a new hasanabi watcher. Hasan hates getting into the thick of theory because of how toxic the “theory stans” of the far left get. It always ends up being M.L.’s screaming at anarcho-communists and that’s what the comments section of that video would be.

Hog: *films himself and his wife assaulting a women in her shop, and then calls the cops.* Cops: *actually doing their jobs and arrests them* Hog: *SURPRISE PIKACHU FACE!?*
ive seen a lot of livestreams of public filming and its actually unlikely that they ever dont arrest the people holding the camera regardless of if they commited any crimes. they almost never arrest property owners or workers. But at least in this instance police did get it right and it was very cut and dry.
Some hogs truly think that because they are diehard supporters of the police, they will get the benefit of the doubt when said police show up to a situation involving them. It's wild. Inconsolable children, them..
As someone who also works alone in a shop,I'm so grateful I don't live in the states(specifically the certain anti-vax areas). I've had so many customers create problems with me over wearing a mask for the whole 5 minutes they spend in the store, but I didnt realise people were actually being physically assaulted over asking customers to wear masks. It's sickening.
its fucking disgraceful. Just wear a mask and don’t be a fuckin dick. Too many hogs saying “ Oohh my rights are being taken away and given up” NO. There’s rules and bylaws in place for a reason.
It was awful, she was screaming in pain! Those psychos should be charged with a premeditated attack too on top of their other charges, especially because they said they went there "because they heard she had a reputation". Definitely malicious intent. Either way I hope they get plenty jail time.
I really like the dynamic of this show. The mutual respect is obvious, yet they truly don’t know each other. We’re getting to see them get to know each other while also getting funny commentary on modern topics and issues.
I’m from NC. I worked at Amazon and was hired while pregnant. Not only did they lay me off and give the job to people who slept in the break room and walked off the production floor. Once they announced people were getting laid off, we became understaffed and made me push 50lbs boxes and couldn’t get a bathroom break. But hey, we got free food every once in a while
Jesus Christ, watching that video of those DISGUSTING, ENTITLED THUGS harass and assault that woman in her own store was so horrific. I can't stop crying, I need to take a break (pausing 1:10:15 for a self reminder), I empathize with the store owner's feelings of anger, shock, and confusion so much I can feel it in my heart (genuinely giving me heart burn right now). I'm so so sorry this happened to her.
The way she was crying out for them to leave. My heart broke. I can't believe they did that for no reason. It's dark to think they believe they'll be safe by the law. The law is not like a physical shield. They just understand the vague meaning of the law
It gave you acid reflux. XD as well as a heart ache (tightening if the chest do to stress. Is what I'm going to say that is) I would assume you know this but there's always the chance you are just unaware. As the kind of person who also feels things ridiculously deeply (I had to skip five seconds of the video to keep it playing. When I was younger, and this Is funny. You're aloud to find it funny, Mystery Reader. I would feel bad for bad guys in cartoons when their plans were foiled) understanding why my body is doing the things it is has helped me down the road to mastering the symptoms of my emotions so I can continue to focus while while it's happening and use them as a weapon against hate, Injustice, ect. It's a long journey.

As someone who is pro choice for getting a vaccine, I don’t see why the right is mad over big bird saying that, kids show characters have been doing things like that for DECADES, trying to help parents calm their nervous kids
I used to have a nurse that would pretend to give my elmo stuffed animal a shot so that I wouldn’t be nervous. I agree that sometimes kids need to see their favorite characters or parents so they aren’t scared!
Empathy, compassion and sympathy is a foreign concept to the hogs that practice extreme individual needs. They can't see past their own noses, why would they comfort a scared child?
Honestly it makes me sad when I see how other states are handling wearing masks. Obviously that lady was in the wrong for not wearing a mask. I live in indiana and literally nobody wears masks and its so fucking annoying. Every time I go anywhere I wear my mask because its literally not hard, but nobody else is wearing a mask. Hi I’m an educator. We are actually teaching critical race theory in some schools, but it mostly means we just explain to kids that the system is built on the bodies of brown and black people and we should be antiracist. I work in a dog grooming shop and we were having people pick up and drop off out in our parking lot for a bit at the beginning of Covid. It was basically like carside service. I have a heart condition and our secretary has a genetic lung disorder so we were taking guidelines very serious in order to stay open safely. We also had strict guidelines to follow in order to not get reported to the public health office because numbers were through the roof in MO at the time. We had to lock a grown ass older man out of our building because he started screaming in my face that Covid wasn't real. He kept going on about how dare we not offer him more personal service. It was terrifying and unnerving how someone who looked like someone's grandfather went from 0-to absolutely menacing in a few seconds flat. I really feel for that cookie shop owner.

It's hard at first but the feeling of actually getting results from sculpting your body is addicting. I wonder how it affects actors psychologically when they have to make those off screen changes for a role
Eating disorders are rampant among the body sculpting crowd. And as someone trying to heal an ED watching my friend sadly waste away in the midst of her ED I can confirm no amount of beauty is worth this. I get the desire. I live with the desire to be the thinnest and yet curviest form I can be but know it will kill me. Eventually. And I'd be just as miserable if I did it for a short "beautiful" life by the way, because you also get body dysmorphia. I wish this on no one and hope Hasan doesn't delve into steroids. He is JACKED but the way he talks about himself still you'd think he is just starting to see gains after so much work. But who knows if He is healthy physically and emotionally? He looks handsome but he may be not eating enough or diversely enough. He may have dysmorphia. But I hope he is happy and so won't do the drug route.

That's right we only gotta stop the climate crisis.
Great point

Dear Trumpists: your side is filled with nutcase conspiracy theorists with no proof or credibility whatsoever, blue lives matter people who beat and murder cops at tge capital during your tantrum that Trump lost, (its not a false flag, hundreds of verified right wingers are in jail rn) mass shooters (there have been a couple hundred this year and you still think guns are being used to stop tyranny when you’re the tyrants who support tyrants) and white supremacists (you constantly defend them every single day, hate civil rights movements, and believe you’re not one because you dont literally wear KKK robes or Nazi garb, and you also hate feminism and LGBT people and then get angry at people calling you bigots because of it)
There are also credible pedo/sexual assault scandals constantly in the republicans party and dozens against Trump alone including two underage girls but you strangely dont care and just call us all pedos every day with no proof, (Bill Clinton and Bill gates hung out with Epstein so maybe they were? Theres no proof, though. But Trump on the other hand was good friends with the guy and theres video and photo and Trump straight up admitting they’re friends and that Epstein likes young girls, and has two of Epsteins thirteen year-olds at the time accuse Trump of sodomy and assault but you ignore that AND the photos and videos of Trump with Epstein like you have tunnel vision) and also:
Dangerously anti-democracy and think that democrats winning is anti-democratic because your lying conspiracy nut leaders tell you that it was stolen with dozens of investigations showing it wasnt, and democracy to you means that only your side wins, and if they dont you wanna murder a bunch of people so they can seize power, and thats actually authoritarianism.

We need to get the Teamsters involved with unifying FedEx and UPS unions. Teamsters could get some Ws for you.

The arrest with the baseball bat... I'm literally clapping, that made me so happy.
Ethan talking about Joe Manchin: “I saw a video of him being Blacked, er, blocked…”
I honestly could believe it 🤣🤣🤣
Lmao I caught that too 🤣
How did I miss this! Does anyone have a time stamp?

Wait what's the significance? Whose Joe manchin?
I graduated from the police academy and during my time I asked why cops don’t have to keep up their physical fitness for the job and they said that I could thank police unions for that. 😂
I truly thought they have been filming Leftovers in a new expensive studio, until the cut to Dan in his ridiculous chair lol.
That woman wasn't in a wheelchair until after she suffered repeated broken bones in her feet from repetitive stress fractures working at Amazon.
I don't know why but I found Hasan looking at Dan to laugh at Ethan's shenanigans at 1:07:19 so damn cute ♥😭
Even cuter one: 1:11:49
I really enjoyed the fitness convo they had at the start!
I got scared when Hasan didn't say that's right straight away but my boi didn't fail me
honestly it sounds EXHAUSTING being in the US. You’re all still years away from basic policies like free health care and low taxes here in the 🇬🇧
This is the best thing to happen to happen to this channel in so long. Hasan and Ethan have great chemistry and make for very entertaining hosts.
“I’m gonna die if I don’t pause this video” Hasan 🤝 Ethan
Really cool to see this podcast find its groove, as much as I like both Hasan and Ethan I found that with some of the first podcasts I lost interest during them and didn't finish, but the last few have been a massive improvement. Hope it continues!
I am Norways first nonbinary/transgender police student I agree on the view of American cops. The klan and the American cops go hand in hand, unfortunately. Also, my education is 3 years, like a bachelor. I just had very good lectures on racism, people breaking gender norms and sexuality norms and social inequality. Loving how woke and left leaning norways police academy is!
Hasan saying “plus you’re white” was literally so funny
fell off + ratio + you're aging at the speed of white
Racism?
@@lobana1108 reverse racism doesn’t exist
@@mochipomu exactly. It’s racist to say that about white people.
@@lobana1108 no
This show is the FASTEST 2 hours of my life. You guys need to do something like a 6 hour live show so you're not restrained by a 2 hour video.
watch hasans streams, they are like 8 hours long everyday
It's hard at first but the feeling of actually getting results from sculpting your body is addicting. I wonder how it affects actors psychologically when they have to make those off screen changes for a role
probably get a god complex...
They all do roids
Body dysmorphic issues I’d say 😞
Who else things H3 is the best podcast out here? I mean , they post so often, high quality, great topics they’re just always entertaining and funny! Only one I watch!
