First of all- I'm absolutely mesmerized by this build. From the starter car to the solid fabrication IQ. From the old school cutting wheel to the laser scanning and digital modeling. And also the straight-forward presentation free of goofy, annoying shoppies constantly trying to add unwanted entertainment value. This is refreshing and fascinating. Thanks!
this series deserves so much more attention. Mike you fricking rock, I am an undergrad student studying mechanical engineering, to be doing 1/10th of what you do would be my dream
Faro arms are so sick. The whole concept behind 'plotting' with them is so damn interesting and cool. Nice choice on the remote res. Billie's. Never had the pleasure of using remote setups from Bilstein, just from Moton and JRZ, and nothing else really comes close to either IMO. I'm guessing the Billie's are a little more 'competitively priced' than them maybe?? I ran the AST 4100's on a few of my e36 track cars and loved them, especially for the price. I'm very interested to see how the Bilstein's stack up to the big $ others. I've ran Billie sports, H.D.'s and of course PSS9's on a handful of different personal and customers cars over the years and no doubt about it, they make an excellent product! The sports and Koni yellow's along with some G.C. sleeves make for a pretty decent coilover setup on a budget, especially on cars like the e28, e24, e30, e34, etc when you need to modify the strut housings. What did those Bilstein's cost if you don't mind me asking? Can't beat spherical bearings anywhere possible for the simple fact that they eliminate all the unwanted suspension/ steering geometry changes. Great move. I filled my track duty cars with them and delrin bushings with reinforcement plates and bump steer correctors and it was night and day! Love this project and it's attention to detail is exactly what I go for on my builds as well, so I can really appreciate what you're doing here even more. Keep up the excellent work on this and thank you for sharing! Will be excited to hear the 07K revving out and this thing ripping around through the twisties! 👍👍😁
Awesome video! I was always curious I have both a 944 and a Air-cooled Baja bug. You see a lot of guy using 944 trailing arms on their beetle(mostly aluminum arms) but the steel 944 arms are almost identical to a beetle , what if you reverse it and use beefed up Baja trailing arms on a 944?
I don't get it! Just why? F1 cars run torsion bars, so why can't you? They are easy to change, as you just pull them out the side of the car, and push a new one in. New stiffer ones are easily available.

Best detailed build on RUclips next to Bad Obession Motorsports Binky 👍

Who is this guy! How is this free and how can someone be this skilled in such a variety of applications?
Best series on RUclips no doubt - Mike is a genius fabricator and the video quality is 🔥
❤
Beautiful build, removing torsion bars (swing axles) is a dream of mine, love the fab work
This is by far my favorite build on RUclips. Keep it up!

Mike its been a while but I'm glad you're back. I love this series and now there is two episodes!
Very nice work dude
This thing is a monster. I can't wait to see it in action
Me too!
Awesome work
well done 🤘
What's wrong with the lift? What did you feed it? :)
The issue was lack of weight. Porsche was just a shell at that point. Lift is good :)
Would you ever consider publishing this rear suspension spec online for download, and/or offering the fab'd parts for purchase?
Please tell me which company from which car the Hydro Power Steering pump was installed?
Good
How do I get more info on this build?
I love ECS Tuning for their great product and reasonable prices, but the shipping times are horrible,
