My advice is far too late, but it would have been easier for you, if you had quilted the individual panels before assembling the jacket. That said congratulations on jumping into this project and learning in front of the camera. I hope you really enjoy wearing your unique jacket.

Can I ask why you quilted after combining the pieces rather than quilting each piece and then putting them together?

Sure! Since I wanted the jacket to be reversible, I focused on making two smooth shells and connecting them with the quilting after, but in hindsight, it certainly would have been easier to quilt each piece and then put it together 😂 Thank you for watching!
