I'm not in the uk, but the first thing I'd do if restrictions got lifted is just look to see if the concert I was planning on going to got rescheduled. I had two concerts planned, one was billie eilish and one was bts, but the billie eilish one got cancelled outright. The bts one seems to just be indefinitely postponed which sucks a lot. Going to a bts concert means meeting thousands of other people with the same interest irl. It's such a different experience compared to most "normal" concerts. Not to mention it was going to be my first big concert as well :( My whole family fought to get me and my sister tickets because not only are the tickets pricy but they also sell out extremely fast because it's millions of people buying at once. We were so lucky and I was so grateful for such an amazing gift. You can give an item, but giving an experience is on a completely different level
That's it, I now need a shirt that says "Hair dye is cheaper than therapy" Also, I can relate to having to deal with things you're not necessarily ready to deal with. I've been dealing with that and journaling it, and now recognize a lot of the roots of issues I've got.

the new Directions neon colours are amazing!!! So you dont waste the blue-green you've got, you could mix with a neon green (or even a neon yellow) to make a really bright green !!
The worst color I ever worked with was Artic Fox black dye. My bestie wanted it out and it came out every color while we stripped it. We ended up shaving it bc it was fried at that point. I advise any and everyone to stay away from that color from that brand. Yours didn't look that bad but I hate when the color isn't the right one. 💚🖤
EVERYONE is having issues with the green manic panic colors being inconsistent , uneven and with alot of blue pigments .... Honestly thought you were the exception because yours always looks so vibrant.
Also porosity of the hair effects how direct dyes are absorbed leading to uneven color. You can balance that by wetting the hair first or they sell products specifically for that. But you are definitely a hair pro it looks great
I usually use Renbow crazy colours. My natural hair is white but it sucks that I have to bleach it still so it is porous enough to grab color. I can't get any red to actually be red, it always turns out neon pink. But there is something about the blue that never ever washes off. So now I am rocking my big ass white roots with freaking vibrant blue still after like 2 months of washing it. I think I have some hot purple still, I might just go purple roots with blue hair. I love that you reconnected with your best friend from childhood. I have a similar situation. When we were about 15 we went out bar hopping with some dudes from a band we met that night. As the night draws to an end we get in their car so that they take us home, to my surprise not 5 minutes after her on and off boyfriend shows up in a car right beside us at a traffic light, she hops off without a word gets in his car and they drive off, leaving me on the car with the 3 dudes. They were as surprised as I was and just said I had a shit friend and were absolute stars and took me home. So as it turns out she arranged all of this by text and used me as an excuse to get out and go sleep with him. I got a whole lot of drama and a hell of a whooping when I was seen leaving a car by myself with 3 dudes. I will be honest she broke my heart so bad that day that I cried for weeks on end. I loved her like a sister. Many many years go by and she reaches out to apologise to me. She has 2 young daughters now and she could not conceive someone doing the same to one of her kids. She said she missed me dearly and that she never had a friend like me. As much as it touched me and it felt really good to hear, I had to be honest and say that although I forgive her because we were young and stupid, I can't rekindle the friendship in the same way because I feel like in a life story full of betrail and abandonment she was the one I always trusted but that trust and that safe place that she was in my heart did not exist anymore. She is a wonderful human being and an amazing mother and it makes me so sad that I can't get past these feelings after so many years. I hope you get your childhood best friend back, I really do. We had the same problem with Directions Turquoise recently - it came out more navy - we had an old tub of turquoise & they looked really different in the tub so we just mixed them together so at least Taryn's hair wouldn't be patchy. I used Emla cream. It does wear off after 1-2 hours and then the remaining tattoo time hurts more as there hasn't been any build up. Good luck with your tattoo though x
Try the brand Adore. They are cheap and I find their colour better than directions. I've used their cajun spice when I was orange. They have quite a big selection of green shades.

The story about your friend almost made me cry. The same thing happened with me, when I was under a love spell with someone that was super insecure. After 2/3 years I hardly had any friends left because my ex made me end all my friendships. But I regret one friendship most of all. With my best friend, the closest relationship I ever had during my teen years. After 3 years I finally had the strength to end things with my ex, after years of psychological abuse. It took me over a year to reconnect with my old friend.. But things were never the same. So don't let anyone ever tell you to stop talking to your friends!! Major red flag.

I've always found using hair clippers for my fringe is wayyyyy easier than scissors. Love the colour 😊

I use Lunar Tides Juniper Green because Directions lasted never on my hair . Its a hunter green .

I used Emla cream. It does wear off after 1-2 hours and then the remaining tattoo time hurts more as there hasn't been any build up. Good luck with your tattoo though x

Yes the apple green is a new colour from directions and it’s definitely not that dark/blue toned ive used it before !
oh i just caught the end, so theve changed the colours thats annoying 😭
Try the brand Adore. They are cheap and I find their colour better than directions. I've used their cajun spice when I was orange. They have quite a big selection of green shades.

Do use conditioner for coloured hair and don't retouch or anything for another 3/4 weeks to let it heal up from the bleach and colour remover.

Question! How much did that lip piercing hurt? I've planned on getting one forever, but I only have 1 other piercing (my ear) and I'm unsure if a lil piercing is a good second piercing due to the pain difference (hope this made sense at all?)

I did conditioner and crushed vitamin C to strip my color and it works pretty good,

The story about your friend almost made me cry. The same thing happened with me, when I was under a love spell with someone that was super insecure. After 2/3 years I hardly had any friends left because my ex made me end all my friendships. But I regret one friendship most of all. With my best friend, the closest relationship I ever had during my teen years. After 3 years I finally had the strength to end things with my ex, after years of psychological abuse. It took me over a year to reconnect with my old friend.. But things were never the same. So don't let anyone ever tell you to stop talking to your friends!! Major red flag.

I think piercing videos would be neat, though I will say a lot of people say that nipple piercings don't heal(I have no clue I've never had my nips done tis just what I heard), but if you decide to do that, you could film yourself shoulder up, so that we can see the reaction and how it goes without demonization (hopefully?)! You don't have to of course, just an idea!
