Hey everyone and thank you for joining us as as Lewis starts his very own Game Of Thrones Journey.
This first episode is just to test the water and see if Lewis will not only enjoy it, but also be able to keep up with the many plot twists.
A Night's Watch deserter is tracked down; Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark learns that his mentor has died; Viserys Targaryen plots to win back the throne; Robert arrives at Winterfell with his family; Ned prepares to leave for King's Landing.

Some trivia: the cocky brother of the Night's Watch who appears in the very first scene of the entire series is Waymar Royce, the son of Yohn Royce, the loyal bannerman of House Arryn of the Vale who is always suspicious of Petyr Baelish and his proximity to Robin Arryn.

LOL! @ Kev' poker face. I know what that is like, because after I finished the entire series, my hubby decides he wanted to now watch to see what the heck I kept getting excited about. So, there we went off to S1 E1 and beyond to the end and every time something devasting happened, he would yell AND YOU KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME....I would burst out laughing and say remember you said NO SPOILERS!...LOL!

Not only did Ned take Bran to his first beheading but you got to see Lewis's reaction... now you know how we feel when we watch your reaction. PS hope Lewis keeps on going want to see if he cries and gets as mad as dear old dad.

i loved watching Lewis reaction to this! I've bee watching yours Kev and its been great, but i'm i think 1-2 years older than Lewis and it was cool to see someone my age watch this show as its one of my favourites ever and i haven't found anyone on yt in my age range that's reacted to GOT!!! id love to see Lewis reactions to more of this as i think most of us would!

One of my favourite GoT reaction series was by two sisters from Sheffield. The young sister had not seen the show, the older one had and was grilling the young one about everything without spoiling. They would have hilarious debates and in-depth discussions after the episodes.

What's so cool is watching it a second time cuz you get soooo much more, since your not as distracted trying to learn names and "relationships" and such. You can help explain things to Louis if he has questions and Plus you get to re-experience those gut-wrenching and ultimate high moments. I'm so excited to continue your journey and start again anew. The series is A Song Of Ice And Fire. The first book in the series is called A Game Of Thrones (1996). Followed by A Clash of Kings (1998), A Storm of Swords (2000), A Feast for Crows (2005) and lastly the fifth book A Dance With Dragons (2011). The sixth book The Winds of Winter is still a work in progress. Each season covers roughly one novel with a bit of overlap. 😅
The technical term for throwing someone outside of a window is defenestration. 😢
This'll be interesting to see both Lewis's first reaction and also Kev's second viewing reaction having knowing stuff and probably picking up on things you missed the first time round.

A sixth book, titled The Winds of Winter is forthcoming, but we have been waiting 13 years for it. Some of us are staring to believe that George R. R. Martin will *never* finish the damn thing.

I too have difficulties remembering relationships and names when I see a new show. You might want to pause and point out information on the new characters. Even though they mentioned they were sister and brother, as a kid he might not retain those facts.
