I agree. But after staring at the tank for a week or so I know I'm gonna move a bunch of it around to make it look like one solid piece. After that maybe I'll add some fissidens and anubias
It's gonna be the same vibe but I definitely think I can make the structure look more natural. Now that the wood is all soaked and I've been staring at it for a week I know I can do better
All of your aquascapes look amazing, even your setups from 2017. I like your style.
Check out MD Fish Tanks I bet you’ll really love his
would love to talk to you more about this!
Check out my Instagram and send me a dm, that’s the easiest way to get a hold of me
@@ormsonaquariumdesign3587 sounds good!
Anubias and moss would help soften the hardscape a bit and make it feel like one larger tree trunk.

Ropefish!!!!! What kind of lights are on this tank? I really like the shimmer on the wood. Beautiful!
It’s a custom setup I did but it’s a combination of a track light and some led bulbs
@@ormsonaquariumdesign3587 I love it! Great job!
checkout oceans floor on haywood mall connecter should be the closest lfs to you
I go there occasionally, not a huge fan
@@ormsonaquariumdesign3587 me too but i made a fish buddy so thats a plus what fish stores do you go to near greenville or farther
I order a lot of what I want nowadays. Knoxville and Columbia have good fish stores though
Butterfly fish and the elephant nose family fis, Congo tetras, maybe a rope fish.
What filter are you using
Who remembers, probably a big Eheim classic
I would consider adding pelvicachromes pulcher If the other fish wont get too big.
Kribs or one of the similar cichlids from that area are an option we’ve been thinking about
What kind of wood is that?
Mostly Malaysian
A big shoal of debauwi catfish, would look nice
Those are cool but I’d be worried about them getting eaten
You could do african spiny eels or ropefish instead of bichirs for an eel-like biotope appropriate bottom dweller
That's one I haven't heard yet. Rope fish could be a cool peaceful addition
I was going to suggest rope fish too !! They're really neat
Remember kids, drink responsibly.
Ctenapoma will get three times as thick and double the length of the ones you've got
Show me a ctenopoma bigger than the ones in my recent videos? I’d love to see them
apistos and red eye tetras!
Oh shit wait I really like the new scape
It's gonna be the same vibe but I definitely think I can make the structure look more natural. Now that the wood is all soaked and I've been staring at it for a week I know I can do better
@@ormsonaquariumdesign3587 maybe some smaller pieces idk how aquascaping works. But uhhh. Looking forward to seeing rescape 2.0
I may add a few branchy pieces to the mix but I mainly just want to rearrange the stuff I currently have
Anubias coffeefolia
Synodontus decorus
Yellow tail Congo tetras
Synodontis decorus gets waaaaaaaaaay too big for me lol, as for the anubias I agree completely, and coffeefolia is one of my favorites
First
Lol, and now you’re the first to know that I’ll definitely be doing a rescape someone soon
If you re arange it post the video
I did, check out the playlist for newer scapes
