MJ played 38 mintues per game.. Wemby is barely playing 28 minutes per game and half the season they were experimenting with rotations...Yet hes still avgings nearly 21 pts a game. It really isnt close imo.
MJ plays both ends of the court. Rookie MJ is superior to Rookie Wemby. If Wemby played 28 mins. thats because he sucks. he lacks energy to play 10 more mins. it is not Rookie MJs fault. Rookie MJ led the NBA in total points scored.

Nah, points really aren't the argument you think it is in favor of Jordan, simply because Jordan was playing a lot more minutes per game. Per 36, Jordan scored 26.5 points and Victor scores 26.0 points. It really is a lot closer than you'd think. Also team success can't be put on one person, Pop is clearly tanking, limiting Victor's minutes intentionally.

You cannot compare stats from different eras. Jordan entered the NBA during the 80s - the best decade of the NBA. Today's players are not as complete as the 80s players.
If anything, Victor’s defense would be MORE dominant in the 80’s. 3 point shooting wasn’t much of a thing during the 80’s. Meaning, far more plays were designed to be scored in the paint…with big men. Wemby would be averaging like 5 blocks a game in the 80’s, along with probably 3 steals.
Go watch the dunk contest and 3pt contest from the 80s.. its absolutely pitiful lol.... its so so bad lmao. The average NBA player now a days would be borderine superstars in the 80s.
