Hi @chelseahaley3546! 👋🏼👋🏼 That's exciting you are starting your garden journey and it's GREAT to have you hear!! Really good question about zoning. Head over to planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/ and then you can type your zip code into the search function at the top of the US map. Hit "enter" and it will tell you right below the search bar what your garden zone is. We are super-excited for you to learn what zone you are gardening in! Once you find out, let us know. 😀😊
My yellow lantana did the exact same thing in my garden, it actually almost looks like a ground cover.

Please let me know how you are going to overwinter your caladium. I’ve tried for two years in a row and never been successful. I’m in Ontario Canada zone 6b
Sorry to say we have not been successful yet overwintering caladiums. This year, we'll dig them up and store them inside in a cool, dry place. 🤞What methods have you tried?
