I’m gonna be honest here, out of all the truely great colour schemes and patterns we’ve seen in the ceratopsian series, this is probably my favourite of the bunch. It looks like something straight out of Dinosaur King and I really love that about it.

A little late to the party, but I just got this figure in and I did NOT expect it to be as big as it is. I got the Medusa with it and I was blown away by the size difference, especially compared to the Zuniceritops I just got.
Excellent review as always, I personally prefer this color to any other more drab look that may come from potential fan choice colors. Love the nerding out about Titanoceratops too, I agree it's likely a fully mature Pentaceratops. Can't wait to see the Albertaceratops 🍻
Wow 😱😱😱!!! Pentaceratops was one of the my favourite Ceratopsian species 😄. I love it, but unfortunately i do not have enough money for this cool and beautiful Ceratopsian, so sad 😞. For Dinosaur model , i not really huge fan ☹️, but for articulated Dinosaur, i Ultra-huge fan of that because it so rare to get Dinosaur in articulated version 😀. The Beasts of the Mesozoic what i have now just Pyroraptor and Chasmosaurus only in my collection. I wish, i can collect more Beasts of the Mesozoic Dinosaurs to add in my collection. At first I really was not sure if I like it or not bacause of the colour but now ,after I saw this review, I love it so much I can't wait to get it in hand.
My favorite out of wave 3 ive been waiting!!!!! Thanks for reviewing!!!!! Thanks for clearing up that this is the same size as the wave 2 ceratopsians ive been wondering because its 100 dollars instead of 90 i sadly probably wont ever own it though
So, I'm having lots of problems importing them to Mexico. My sister is gonna visit me from the UK in a few months. To save space, do you think opening the ceratopsians up and wrapping them in cotton and newspaper be a good idea? I want to get them ASAP, but I'm worried about scratching the paint and, especially, damaging or breaking the horns or crest.

So, it definitely seems researchers are agreeing that Titanoceratops is actually a large specimen of Pentaceratops, as part of a 2020 study by Fowler and Freedman Fowler, the authors critically re-evaluated the evidence that Titanoceratops was a distinct genus. They agreed with Lehman's original assessment, that the features in the specimen that appeared unique were likely due simply to advanced age and unusually large size. Pending a full re-evaluation of the specimen by other researchers, Fowler and Freedman Fowler opted to consider OMNH 10165 simply a large Pentaceratops.

I both love and hate the color schemes on the BotM figures. They stand out, but I don’t think they’re very realistic. Not that we actually know how they looked, but it doesn’t seem logical that they would be so bright when you compare them to similarly sized megafauna.
Could you walk me through the math? It got me a 1:14.78 scale for this one and that's Waaaay too much for me to be content! I get that stating 2:28 makes things simpler, but it's an outright lie. We should be notified about the real scale. It matters to some of us, :/. What as gonna be my top fig went several places down, :_(

I know this is old news now, but it legit looks like the pentacerotops from Dinosaur king.
One thing I loved about the color scheme it reminded me of the leonopteryx from James camerons avatar.
I knew this would be my favorite figure in the entire ceratopsians line and I love it so much, I’m so excited to get it in hand

It’s because the head is so stupid big. Totally understand the how much more material goes into the head to justify the price increase.
The head makes it look bigger and i understand that theres more material going into this
