OG Jurassic Park is the best followed by Jurassic World. I like when the park is open. Jurassic Park III is my sons fave.

That’s a damn good steelbook set. I do wish the dinosaur models they used for the front covers weren’t exclusively Jurassic World models but they do look nice. Plus the gold against the black is just a great aesthetic.
As for the movies themselves, I love them all. My least favorite is Jurassic Park III, and even then I love all the dinosaur action across that film. Everything else I think are genuinely great movies.
Also a little side note, they did release an extended cut of Jurassic World Dominion which was the original version they intended to release in theaters until Universal asked them to make a shorter cut.
So… I mean you still might hate it, but if you haven’t seen it yet maybe give that cut a shot. To me it’s the only version of the movie that exists to me now I love it.

Jurassic Park is classic and Lost World is an adequate sequel. I don't have much use for any of the other films.

I grew up with the original trilogy and I hated kingdom and dominion & they should’ve been titled Jurassic kingdom & Jurassic dominion
I swear they only added world on the sequels to get people to watch them

You are right, the first one is probably my favorite. I actually really loved Jurassic Park III, I never got why it got so much flack. It was such a fast paced movie. It almost immediately went into dinosaur scenes and chases, which is what I come for when it's a dinosaur film.
My least favorite of the series is Lost World Jurassic Park. It's so...slow, I feel like I'm waiting forever to see the Dinosaurs, it's cool when they show up and has some legit cool action scenes. But it just feels bogged down by the human characters, who I honestly just didn't find myself liking. It didn't help that the movie feels extremely long.
I actually think Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom was a bit underrated, it felt a lot like a Dino Crisis movie in a way to me. I enjoyed the whole super raptor stalking people through a creepy mansion. It wasn't like a 10 out of 10 movie, but it was solidly entertaining to me.
As for this set, I'm tempted...to get it, though I did pick up all the Jurassic Park movies individually when they released them, because I wanted them to have their own cases and not be a cheap looking box set. My only concern is I'm pretty sure they are making another Jurassic film, and I feel like that ultimate collection will lose it's meaning pretty quickly. But damn Best Buy has some of the sexiest steelbook boxed collections I've ever seen.

Jurrasic park 3 steel should have been spino. That was a huge fail to have the pterodactyl. And I like them in order of release. Fallen kingdom and dominion were very weak and had no idea what direction they were going.
I’m with you on preferring the third over the second. So the films are on Blu-ray as well? I might actually grab this. I grew up on these films and I actually don’t own them on Blu-ray at all. Just DVD

The first is obviously the best, and I think 3 is underrated even though as a kid I didn't like it, but it has grown on me.
But I still love 2 as a close second to the first. Yeah, the ending may be a head stracther as to how the T Rex got loose, but it was so awesome seeing it rampage the city. I always want more of just one dinosaur wreaking havoc in a city. Saw every single one in the theaters, and I can't say that for very many franchises.
Funny, for me, for the longest time I DESPISED Part 3. And this started since I rented it as it came out. As soon as it was over I couldn´t believe how bad it was. And I enjoy pretty much everything.
...I still think it is bad but I´ve learned to enjoy it.
And yes, DOMINION is pretty bad. Between the locusts side story and the fact that what we ALL were expecting a movie with the world overrun with dinosaurs and, for the most part, they were stuck again in the same place.
Also, for being "the last" of the saga and bringing everyone, why didn´t they brought back Julianne Moore and Vince Vaughn. Not for a cameo and maybe not the whole movie but for an important mission on the movie.
I love fallen kingdom & JP3 but do enjoy the original. The lost world and the 2 Jurassic world films by Collin were not fun for me.

I'm jelly. I love that steelbook. I'm torn because there are so many steelbook collections and they'll set you back. Amazon has that six movie collection for less than half of the steelbook. I really want the stealbook though. Same with Indiana Jones, Transformers, and other steel book collections.
