Anastasia, I am so happy to see you be reunited with your most prized instrument. When you started playing at 3:54 I lost it. I wasn’t planning on crying this morning, but seeing the end of this story has truly moved me. It was an amazing resurrection to watch from the beginning, and and even more beautiful reunion. Jerry is a real treasure to the world, and I’m so glad he was able to do this for you. This series is proof that musical instruments are more than just possessions; they are a part of our hearts. Thank you Melissa, for putting this incredible series together, and thanks to Jerry for his teachings. Your story has touched me in ways that I can hardly describe.

Jerry, let me tell my story. I am a retired 64 years old university professor. In 2019 I started to build my first classical guitar following three sources: Irwing Sloane book, your tips and videos and tips from a spanish guy, Pablo Requena. I just finished it. I am starting a new project, this time an acoustic guitar. I am saying this, because watching the thrill of this family embracing the Chocolate reconstruction, giving back life to this violin, is very emotional. They believe the only person that could make this invaluable job to restore Anastacia's heart was you. And they were absolutely right. May God continue to give light to your ability for many and many years to come. God bless you. Sincerely, Paulo Rosa, Brazil

I watched all the videos as they were uploaded, and I must say that this series was the best I’ve ever watched anywhere. It was very emotional because I had almost, but not as bad, the same issue with my first real classical guitar which was a gift from my grandmother when I was 14. At the time, I was going almost every week to the luthier’s workshop to see it being built. I too was devastated when it fell and broke.
It has also been repaired, fortunately.
Thank you Jerry for your dedication. And Anastasia, I hope you’ll enjoy your violin for many years to come.

I'm just an old local country & gospel singer-songwriter who knows what it is to have a relationship with a stringed instrument, so I watched Jerry's "Chocolate A Bittersweet Restoration" episodes intently. And when you played for your grandparents, the flood gates went wide open.

The story of Anastasia and Chocolate has moved me greatly. It is so reassuring to know there are people out there that are so passionate and compassionate. Jerry, your work is of the highest standard and painstakingly precise. Thank goodness for you and your team. From the heart, Clive in Hastings, East Sussex UK.

Amazing work Jerry!! I had asked you to restore my 1972 Guild 12- string but, understandable, you had to turn me down because you are so backlogged. It would’ve made a good series but it was not meant to be. I’m still a loyal follower and learn from your wonderful videos. You are amazing, Jerry, keep on being as good as you are!

Sorry. Probably have to turn down even more as the arthritis takes it toll.

@@RosaStringWorks ... I’ve heard you comment on that several times in your videos and I do empathize. I’m starting to feel it too. It’s affecting my playing and the light repair work that I do.
I love your videos and look forward to seeing them. Caleb has become quite an asset and I’m looking forward to seeing a video featuring the both of you on a repair. Be well, Jerry and be safe!! Very Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas to you and the family!!
