- In this overnighter we head out to a mountain side location to spend a winter night in the forest with a great view of the valley. we get some fresh snow fall once reaching camp and get our tents set up just in time. a night spent talking next to the campfire and some hot food was next. waking up in the morning to sunshine we sit on the mountain side enjoying morning coffee before packing up our hear and hiking back to the trail head. I hope you enjoy this video as we had a great time in the snow.

I have the US Military Modular Sleep system 4 piece, took me a few years to get all 4 pieces. I loved it when I was in the Army during winter training. Great gear
I like it
Absolutely positively magnificent!! Loved the snow falling at night then the sun shining on it and the view of the valley was astounding. Thank you so much!
Glad you enjoyed it
Love your videos. Watching them and learning about the camping way of life takes us away from the crazy world outside. We even try your meals which are delicious and simple. Ramen recipes are good and economical. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and common sense teaching.
Good job!
The opening trek is what I call one foot in front of the other meditation and there's no better place to do it than the woods.
Agreed. Absolutely peaceful
Those scenes around the campfire are so beautifully done. No painting could be prettier and the one where you were eating is so pretty. The one where you are just settling around the fire, where you can see the full moon, through the trees, is like a work of art. Wow!
Thank you, it was even more awsome being there. I'm glad I could share this with you 😁
Thank you for taking the time to take us with you. It's a lot of work. :D
@@mawmawvee always happy to share.😊👍
wow ... I want to try to experience an adventure like this,,, 😍😍👍
😊go for it and have fun
just waiting for the time 💪
Happy moments,I think!
😊🔥
I'm envious. It looked like a great camp.
Thanks Bruce. We had a great time out there. 😃
Beautiful morning, that's what it's all about!
Very beautiful morning indeed 😊
Yet another great/fun video to watch.
Thank you
And i just drove my skoolie to Florida. Made me cold to watch this. Great vid as always.
Thank you friend. Also thank you for your ongoing support to the channel, much appreciated
Ha,ha,ha,...Very cold!!
Wow, a great fire going......and the Moon peeking through the trees.....makes for a another fine camping experience....!!
Thank you. It was awsome 🐺🏕
That view overlooking everything is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing that
Thank you for enjoying
@@Lonewolfwildcamping always! Since I've started watching your channel, I haven't missed an episode. I even went all the way back to when you first started filming. Keep on keepin on
That's so awsome. Thank you very much for your support 😊🤟
..., wakin up with such an stunning view.. another awesome quality vid.. lonewolf and mike the fox..
Thanks man, it was a beautiful morning for sure.
It’s awesome when you bring your buddy, such a cool and chill guy👍🏻
Friends and family that’s what counts!!!!!another great video dude👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you man . He loves getting outdoors as much as I do. It's always nice having a chill friend to camp with.
Beautiful sight to wake up too! Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you. I'm happy you enjoyed it
great video I love watching your videos because you actually use the gear you show on your channel a lot of RUclipsrs they just do an unboxing review and that's it. Thank you for actually taking the time and using the gear
That's actually very interesting, I never noticed that , about other people. Thanks, I love the gear I use I guess. 😊🤙
@@Lonewolfwildcamping gotcha well I would be willing to bet that 80% of the RUclipsrs out there don't actually use their gear
I think you may be right
Have been enjoying your videos recently. MAKE me want to accompany you.Such freedom, fresh air and total relaxation, getting it away from it all.Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the positivity
Spectacular view! Looked like a very enjoyable time. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thanks for enjoying as always my friend 🤙😊
Excellent camp and location. Nice equipment. Thanks
Thank you very much.
Tip--nights like that fill yer Nalgenes with boiling hot water. Stuff that into a heavy sock and bring into yer bag for an all-night heat source. (and have un-frozen water for coffee!)
I used to do that all the time😊
Looks like a Lot of fun! Thanks for sharing
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it😊
@@Lonewolfwildcamping no problem!
Another solid outing my friend! It's always nice to get into the woods with a buddy.
Thank you man, this trip was lots of fun.
Thanks again for another great video
Thank you again for watching 🤟🤙
The Canadian military sleeping bag are rated for -20 for the inner and -20c for the outer and you combine both and they send you on exercise in the coldest place on earth! A nice humid 10 men tent with a Coleman stove and lantern for heat! Enjoy :P Nice video and snowstorm! Cheers from Manitoba.
Thank you. I knew they were a very warm system but I wasnt sure on the actual numbers. Thank you for that 🤙😊
@@Lonewolfwildcamping No stress I have them issue to me and tested them at -35c in a cold mod tent they work just make sure you don't forget your air mattresses.... A mistake I'll never make again
@@bakupcpu that could be a cold night🥶
@@Lonewolfwildcamping oh it was both our heater failed midway through the night and everything went cold haha. We manage to restart the heater but it was so cold the diesel was geling even with the additive got to love Manitoba cold! It will freeze everything.
@@bakupcpu I hear ya man. Unexpected cold nights ... been there before my friend
Ice cold Spindrift for the win! Excellent choice in local beer. My personal favourite is Nine Locks. There isn't too much that they make that I don't like. Cheers! 🍻
I agree 🍻👍 cheers man
Superb as usual. Quality of vid and audio is spot on. Thanks for sharing. Peace. 👍
Thanks alot, hard work pays off in the end when it's time to watch the videos 😁🤙
Another great video, Jeremy. Cheers to Mike for opting for just a wool blanket and not a pad underneath. I've found a closed cell foam pad with a reflective side on top of the blowup pad works best, but still prefer my hammock. Cheers!
Thanks alot, it was a great overnighter trip 😁🤙
carry some grounded cinnamon powder with u, good for digestion and has anti-inflammatory properties, eat 1 quarter teaspoon before bed, no bloating or gas. alao drink a cup of hot water before bed, gives u a warmer body, a rubberized 75ml hot water bottle would be ideal to keep the body warm and keep the water thawed in the morning to wash ur face or make coffee.
Thank you for taking us along, great video stay safe and healthy God Bless you
Thank you, always happy to share an adventure with you
Enjoyed your camping video ❤️💯. Beautiful scenery and loved all the snow coming down. 😊 Thank you
Thanks so much
I have the same pad (Klymit). Was good a couple weeks ago @ -10F. And good move bringing the propane stoves, our iso-butane stoves struggled at the low temps. And impressive fire!
Thank you, we had an awsome adventure.
Nice. Good camera and dictations. Mike is a trooper now. Thx
Thank you very much. 🤙😊
I've got a thermarest xtherm pad. It's expensive but it's also the only pad you will need. I've never gotten cold on it. You can lay it right out on the snow or ice and you won't feel a thing.
I really want one. I've been looking at them for years now but too expensive for me 😓
You have some really good adventureous videos man. I am glad I am a subscriber. Takes me away for a bit.
Thanks, I love sharing my adventures with the world, I'm glad you enjoyed it.🐺🏕
Absolutely awesome video. You have a knack of capturing the true essence of the great outdoors. Also, nice to see you had a camping buddy with you this time. Cheers 👍👍👍
Thanks so much. I always enjoy being outdoors.
Wow! Hope i could do that too! Nice!
😊🤙
I love the static V... but I do put a piece of reflectix under the pad or a yoga pad and never have had a problem
Agreed! I use the Static V Insulated paired with the Thermarest Z-lite...never had a problem with cold spots in the winter.
I put the Static V Insulated inside my mummy sleeping bag and fits perfectly. Also have some reflectex below my sleeping bag.
The only time I get cold with mine is when I roll off it!
I'm not sold on it just yet. Ive been cold a few times on it, unlike my exped 😓
I have been doing exactly what you are doing 😊🤙
Annapolis Valley Eh! So that's where you hang out. Really a beautiful spot. Spent part of a summer there about 45 years ago. Thanks for the great video . Why not set up your tents to take advantage of the fires heat? Thanks Brian 79
Thanks for enjoying the video 😁👍
"Water's taking forever to boil." There's a long fire back there that would probably heat it up a little faster. :D
Gotta enjoy not rushing everything and just take some time to relax. We never rush
Nice wee video. Only thing I'd say. Use a gortex bivvi bag inside your tent with your sleeping bag. The difference is night and day I'll always use my bivvi.
Just add it to your kit 🤣😄
I don't think I'll be packing a bivy any time in the future. I really do enjoy the lightness of a down bag.
Another great video,,what is the knife ur using,,
Thank you, here is a knife link. ruclips.net/video/4uE4Gob3zFg/видео.html
👍😄
😊🐺
Really like how often you get videos out - I certainly appreciate it! And let me know if you ever consider a subscriber camp (been slowly posting some videos on my channel)! I'm not too far away in New Hampshire - cheers!
Thank you very much, I appreciate the support
Hey, just discovered your channel, been watching some of your videos and I had a quick question. You made your coffee in your food pot. Do you get any residual coffee flavor in your food, or when you boil water in that pot?
Hey, good question. All of my cooking gear is titanium so it does not hold food residue, my coffee always tastes great
New sub, great videos sir!
Happy to have you on board. Enjoy the channel 😊🤩🐺
What is that big pack that looks a little like an ILBE. I like it. Mikes pack.
It's the mardingtop 65l
i saw a cpl sasquatches walking through the woods at 1:25
Yes indeed 🤙😊
@Lonewolf 902 you probabally get this alot but what knife is that?
This might help you out.
ruclips.net/video/4uE4Gob3zFg/видео.html
A light weight tarp over your eating area would have been useful.
That would takeaway from the experience of being in the snow fall
Hi nice to see you again and your friend!! No reflector?
Hey, no reflector this time
Have you ever seen a gloy s heat pal just found one 🤔
Really interesting design. Kind reminds me if a trangia alcohol cook set 🤙
Lonewolf 902 my uncle gave it to me.
@@robertdunn8541 awsome
yes Lonewolf, another superb vid, absolutely stunning views ,("I hit pause for 10 minutes ) looking forward to the Raman reviews . being a huge fan of them all, Please tell me what stove is Mike using, looks a beast, reckon you will be triple close cell pads if the winter is a long un , thanks for sharing Julian , must take a long time filming /editing ,etc .. stay safe
Thank you , I'm putting together a oad system comprised of thermarest and klymit at the moment, should be much warmer.
The waterproof rating on the tangram seems to only be 1500mm, do you think it would handle heavy rain ?
It handles wind, rain, snow very well. I know because I've used it in all conditions without any problems
Should be both hot tents
😁😁
@@Lonewolfwildcamping Felt bad for you and Mike without tent stoves
It was definitely well worth it, sometimes stoves and hot tents can be too much work
Awesome overnighter guys! thanks for doing a tent campout instead of hammocks. You're lucky to have a buddy that likes to winter camp with you. My one friend who enjoys camping has been RV'ing for quite a few years now and is spoiled, bummer, he used to like tent camping and backpacking My other friends aren't interested. Guess I'll have to go solo all the time now.
Looks like the One Tigris tent held up well. I heard that Sil-nylon tents stretch under heavy snow loads. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not? and that ripstop is better. Have you found any issues with your One Tigris tent or teepee's?
I highly recommend going solo. Your situation sounds like mine until last year. Solo is the best way jeff.
The onetigris tents dont suffer from stretching and are awsome in the snow
@@Lonewolfwildcamping Thanks, appreciate the info. Waiting for my tax refund to get the One Tigris hot tent. Take care brother.

Indeed😊
...👍👍👍
😁😁🤙
Nice video! Where do I find all the nice wool sweaters !!
Thank you. I get lucky at thrift shops 😊🤙
I’m thinking of getting the Tangram. How are you liking it and how well is it standing up to the elements? Great video by the way!!
Thank you. The tangram is awsome !! It's very good in any conditions and I highly recommend it.
Is this video about two guys walking I'm sure it's a nuisance to run and set the camera every time
Its alot of work , but well worth the effort.😊🤙
The walk in footage a bit to long 4 minutes !!
4 minutes that others really enjoyed. 😁 gotta remember this is an adventure to share not one that is dictated... enjoy the show my friend
