rest of this post: He said that he didn't want them to stalk him and find out via social media, which we haven't announced on there until we are pass the 12 week scan. I was upset that he hadn't even thought to check with me if I minded him telling her, or to even discuss it with me at all beforehand. I said I wasn't happy that he had done that without even talking about it to me first. I don’t like this woman as she has caused him so much distress previously. He apologised and said that if I wanted to unblock my ex and tell him I could, wish I really don’t feel I need to do. I'm still a bit fed up about it and my partner keeps telling me to "calm down" and "to forget about it already"

And if someone tells you they came from a toxic relationships ALWAYS go to couples, ALWAYS ask them to get therapy before you do major life things like marriage or even if you feel this might be a long term relationship.

It is unfortunate that you are having a child with a man who is still so emotionally invested in an ex-partner. He is only with you to hurt her. You yourself mean nothing to him.
I think this is one of those moments where you insulted to the point where you are kinda insecure and him unblocking and telling her that"look she didn't left and we are pregnant" etc. cause he was previously in abusive relationship and was bit doubtful. And now all his ex's theories are wrong so, he kinda wanted to prove that bichhh wrong. NTA but I get what where he is coming from when you have a psycho ex that won't leave you alone. She bugs me about her milestones that I literally care nothing about. I change my phone number, move to a different city and left my job to avoid her and she still finds me and bugs me so hurting her would feel way more cathartic if it was possible.

Well, you're right about the 6 year age gap - he's 24 (under the impression he is 23) in the movie and "currently" 26 in the series, when Rupunzel is 20 (or almost 20)
