Alison,I have made many Indigo tops and dresses with altered sleeves but all but one from jersey fabric, went down a size and works great, kept the facing as well, keeps the neckline nice and flat, pockets are great too

Love that last one. Pink and grey. So pretty. I can't get the bodice right. Shoulders don't sit right. Maybe I need to size down at upper bust, lower darts, and move shoulder seams. You have convinced me that I need to give it another go ❤great vlog. And the scenery behind you is stunning. 😊

Love all your indigos, I’ve only made one and I changed the neckline to a square neck. I’m just about to cut my next one out. The background in this vlog is beautiful x

Always good to meet a fellow Indigo lover sadly or happily the all need altering by a couple of sizes since I recorded this

I agree on the indigo, once you have the fit sorted it’s a great pattern, if you find a pattern that you can make and make it’s great. Mine is the McCalls 7969. It fitted straight from the go, easy make and with change of fabrics it’s look different. Your indigos are all lovely, hard to pick a favourite. Thank you for taking the time to share

love love love the shirred version! i’ve been wanting to try shirring so think i’ll try it with my beloved indigo (i too have “hacked” the bodice so much 😂, i think it’s a great block to start with as a beginner!)

As usual brilliant vlog. Thanks for your honesty. Like you I love colour, certainly have lots of issues with my body shape but it's mine and I love to sew for it. Isn't it amazing when someone compliments you on an outfit you've created yourself ❤. Well done. Enjoy your precious time away with your daughter.

So many beautiful dresses ! You have inspired me to give it another go. I made one but had all sorts of fit issues - too wide on the shoulders, neck facing would not lie flat and just too big in general however I still like the finished dress ! I think another will be on the cutting table soon after seeing these beauties 🙂

Hi, love love all your Indigo dresses. I haven’t made one yet because I’m not sure about the neckline. Have you any tips on how to lower it, and also how to alter the facing? Thanks in advance.
