- The Type R has a six-speed manual transmission, and second to sixth gear are close ratio gears. We look at the drop in engine rpm through the gears to give you an idea of the speed per 1000 rpm and do a couple of zero to hundred runs.

one thing with tranverse layout fwd, that 1st gear shudder on wot...kinda a turn off as it reminds me of my old wira..proper longitudinal layout and awd or rwd will feel more solid..

Usually they give us a full tank of fuel. If we run out, we top up.

Uncle, I think this might be a noob question, but from what I see, the gear ratio of the top gear for both 5MT and 6MT is similar, then what's the point of having six gear?
I thought the first 5 gears should be the same across 5MT and 6MT, but the 6th gear in 6MT have a lower ratio, but apparently that's not the case, so what's the difference between 5MT and 6MT?
Having 6 speeds means you can have smaller gaps between gears.

Yes, axle tramping is the main cause of the variance. I must have dumped the clutch too fast.
More like 7 sec.. Front wheel driven with so much torque, won't be good in acceleration

It was rather risky testing out the 0 - 100km/h run on public roads, especially the highway where cars are just flying by. Maybe a test track is a better option. Just my 2 cents.

Heel and toe and double declutch for second gear. ( Second is the most vulnerable synchromesh gear)

7 or so seconds...slower than a DSG Golf GTI with launch control. A lot slower actually. A Golf R with launch control doing 4.6sec 0-100 will disappear off the line in real life.
