I'm a 32 year old sailor. Friends say I'm handsome and should try acting/modelling. I also considered that option because it let's me be closer to my family.
My actions in modelling/acting like of work weren't bearing any fruits so I was depressed.
But after watching this video, I learnt that everything happens as per god's will and grace. If it's meant for me, he will bestow it upon me in due time. If it's not meant for me, I must continue sailing happily and without complaints.
God is ever merciful and I must offer sharanagati.

Our Soul Beloved is waiting every moment to embrace us. But our attachment to the material world can blind us to the divine love and support constantly available to us. When we detach our mind from the world and turn our face towards God, surrender our mind and intellect completely to Him,align our wish with His wish , we can experience that divine love, divine bliss , divine peace and divine joy forever. This is the real purpose and fulfilment of our life.
Bamboo story is very inspiring . I have learnt that God’s plan for us is better than our own plan. Hence, accept whatever comes our way as Prasad of lord and patiently wait for his Grace . Thank you Swamiji !

1.Aligning our will with the desire of God.
2.Let us not desire against the desire of God.
3.Let us wait for his grace.
4.Let us try to tolerate sufferings which are consequences of our karma.
5.Let us not complaint to God if any misfortune happens to God.

We have a tendency to make plans for ourselves thinking what will give us happiness but now we have to change our approach and think what will give god happiness.The flute was a perfect example of complete surrender.

Swamiji explains very beautifully in detail the second rule of Surrender. Never to desire against God's will. We have to firmly believe that God has a plan for each one of us. We only need to keep doing our work and leave the results to God. He will always give us the best that we deserve. 🙏
The second aspect of surrender is not to desire against Gods will. Swamiji has explained the importance of this so well in the video.
God is our Supreme Parent, and parents always think and plan better for their children. If sorrow comes, it means that it is reducing the quota of our past karma, so never be afraid of sorrow. If we worship God, He stands with us to help us face that sorrow and cross the river of suffering to reach our real destination!
Swamiji so beautifully explained how Bhakti can be our inheritance if we can keep patiently for gods grace with loosing faith ,whatever sukh dukh comes our way we should accept it without complaining and should surrender to him fully 🙏

As Swamiji explained, the second point of surrendering to God is not to desire against the will of God. We may want something really bad or even think that it is will benefit us. But if desire against the will of God, whatever we do or achieve will not be beneficial to us. Everything we get in life is according to God’s wish. We should accept good and bad things as fruits of our actions.

Another great video where Swami Ji continues to explain what surrender really means. It’s a 6 step process where step 1 is uniting one’s will with God’s will and 2nd being to not desire against God’s desire. Cant wait to hear how Swami Ji elaborates the rest of the 4 steps, but it was great to listen to it and learn from it!
