Looks like they plugged a pedal into the sample pad that was run by the drummer. During sound check the drummer triggered all samples. That’s cool though, didn’t notice they ran that pedal over to the bass player. With that setup, looks like either the bassist or drummer could both trigger samples off the sample pad. Very cool. And thank you on the mix. The live mix you heard at the show was me, and all channels were tracked from the Onyx16, recorded into my MacBook just using GarageBand. Files were given to 197 after the show, and he mixed the audio specifically for this video. Did a great job at it too.

I did sound for this show. The drummer triggered a sample pad plugged into a DI box directly into the board, a Mackie Onyx16.
