I am using kincony a8 board and want to extend the gpio using extra i2c and controll extra 8 relays from them using tasmota .I want to know how should I configure the tasmota configurations for that to use the extra 8 relays to work with tasmota.I already set the wiring with the relay board and the i2c gpio expander ...want to know how to set up the the tasmota configuration(ports) in the configs.

tasmota max support 32 channel output, i don't know how many relay you want to extend, if 16 channel, i think you can download our KC868-A16 tasmota firmware will be ok. just set INPUT/OUTPUT for pins.

can you do a tutorial on youtube how to extend the gpio on kincony a series board and how to use them with sensors and relays? I think it will be great to have as most of the kincony a series board have given extra pins for that......

@@nikhuge6580 you can use PCF8574 or PCF8575 for extend GPIO for INPUT or OUTPUT, but we not suggest to extend relay by this way, it's not a stable way for extend relay by IIC wires, if wires long will not stable, IIC usually use wire by PCB line.
