It really does say a great deal when a property remains in the one family ownership for upwards of 90 years.
In the 1930’s, “Balnagowan” was an undeveloped highland hideaway. A cool climate and fresh trout streams were the attraction.
Over the years, those streams have continued to flow without hesitation and witnessed the development of the rich basalt soils into what are now rolling hills of improved pasture and organic vegetable cropping.
