That is a utility hat from the Marine Corp...that empty locker you opened first was a foot locker, sat at the foot of your bunk, the kind we had in boot camp, the shelf you would have your socks and underwear all rolled up to the size of regular beer can, your fatigues and other uniforms items folded neatly into the bottom, boy that brought me back to 1965
The small ad book is cool or is it said dope now. Those were ads in newsprints. GEORGE, you are adorable & Jeremy is crazy like me. You balance each other & are a wonderful team/couples. Thanks for restoraging videos to previous owners. PAY IT FORWARD, WORLD needs more of this & Random acts of kindnesses'
I used to watch Storage Wars on television, A&E but they seemed to encourage unflattering and rude behavior between the bidders, I like seeing its not really that way, everyone is nice to one another. If you’ve see that show, you may have seen Jerrod & Brandy... you two would make a nicer version Jeremy & George call the network! The clean cut ones!
Mr. Hale, you remind me of that Australian crockadile hunter that died from a Sting Rae stab wound. He was always excited about every animal that he talked about. Just like you. You get excited about all of it. It's cool.
My kids had those trunks to keep their toys in back in the 90s. JSOC used them for communications equipment and the guys took the ones that were going to be thrown out home. Still have a couple of them I repainted and use for storage.
Hales, for future reference if you find motors of any sort contact the manufacturer, they will in most cases send you free postage, and pay you way more than a scrap yard will. The scrap metal yard will only ship those motors back to the manufacturer for the purpose of being refurbished and resold. The same goes for certain parts to your engine. The honest mechanic will inform you of parts to your car that can be refurbished. A dishonest mechanic will act as if they are doing you a favor by disposing of the replaced bad engine parts for you.
The bolts in the safe reminded me of my dad. He used to carry around a few washers and screws in his pockets to make it sound like he had a pocket full of change. He thought it made him sound rich. Interesting what living through the depression does to you. Like your vids.
I will bet that barracks foot locker that was made in San Antonio was made for Lackland AFB. Looks like the one I had at the foot of my bunk in Basic in 1971.
To me that from the Get Go looked like a clean Staged Locker , seen it time after time , just look out for the Car Antenna sticking through big tarp , just bags of clothes under tarp not a CAR ! Good luck
I know you always say bid on only what you only see and not on what you hope to be. $700 spent. I just couldn't see the value. What did I think was in the locked safe? I figured the safe would be empty, because the trunks and boxes were coming up empty. If I had expendable cash, I certainly would have taken a chance on this unit and bid. #restoragethelove
From what I experience in watching your channel, it is better not to bid high in a unit that shows the owner has already removed most of his items. Bid high for a unit that is full and nicely stacked. I hope you agree with me.
You need to find a locksmith/safe opener that won't charge you a ton of money!!!! Hate seeing all these safes broken for nothing when you could sell them and make a profit. I know I'd buy a couple.
Whenever you come across any military clothing or bags (duffle) you need to read the label and check all pockets with your hand inside, because you might find a folded bill. That includes the duffle bag because there is a small pocket near the attached end of the clip strap. It's amazing what you might find in those pockets. Every piece of military stuff has a nomenclature label somewhere on the inside and that label will state what that item is, what the material it is constructed of, where it was made and where the material came from, and the mm/yyyy of when it was constructed. That could be very good information to have when inquiring about the present value of that item.
I’m so happy you put up a video today this is one of things I wanted to do today I know this will sound funny but I wanted to sit and watch one of your videos today because it happens to be my birthday... I’m a simple person who enjoys simple things my husband asked me what I wanted to do today I said watch What The Hales ! Lol.. thanks for making my day..🥰😀😀😀
We had those trunks in Korea as of 2018.... they're used at gun ranges where the soldiers stay for more than a week or two and they are put at the foot of the bunks just like the old movies
23:47 should be a collectible for a uni library doing courses on media, so don't just check amazon, :) check Abes books in Australia. I work in Acquisitions in a uni library, we brought an obscure art book critic for 1400$ nz. Its not all just about whats been sold. List it so its on record and its in you hope box safe.
I didn't think asbestos could be used anymore, but it is crumbly, and doesn't look like normal concrete that's used in a safe. Maybe it's an older kind with deadly cancer causing asbestos. A face mask respirator certainly should have been used.
Even if this unit is considered a failure and you just break even, you're still ahead of the game. There are people that spend $700 in a week on lottery tickets not realizing that the lottery is a tax on the stupid.
Please feel free to send me a reasonable offer with a screenshot of the item that you are interested in directly here: whatthehales@yahoo.com Keep in mind that shipping can be expensive. The email account will be checked once a week. Please do not worry if you do not get an immediate response.
Have been in the hostpital and havent been able to get on here. Now time to get my strength back and watch what i missed in july. Your faithful watcher in Oregon Cris....

What did YOU think was is the Locked Safe?
If you liked this video, then you'll LOVE this one: ruclips.net/video/1cfgZRuNDfU/видео.html
Jimmy Hoffa?
Jeremy you sure can destroy a safe!
Wha. Wha. Whaaa 😆
You guys aren't that bright you need to order a tubular lock pick
Why dose everyone brake the safes open? You could sell them for a big profit.

We'll still make money on this unit :) We HOPED for money in the safe thinking it was a preppers unit but we're not always right :)

I hope you agree with me.
Enjoyed the video! Sierra sounded cute!!
10:23.... My wife would want me to do the naked tool belt dance.... Lol
That's kind of US footlocker I had at Basic Training 45 years ago. Bringing back memories.
Nice too seal of your hard work! Enjoy❤️🇳🇱
I love how excited you get every time Jeremy. And just love Gorgeous George’s giggles. Another great video.

Hello Jeremy & George! Awesome video as always! Be safe! God bless!

You need to find a locksmith/safe opener that won't charge you a ton of money!!!! Hate seeing all these safes broken for nothing when you could sell them and make a profit. I know I'd buy a couple.

Hey Hey Now! GO BLUE FOREVER!
If you tear down those motors, then you can scrap the copper coils and sell them. Make a little bit of cash.
I'm watching from the Manila, Philippines..!!
No problem bro that s the Abandoned Storage one time you won and one time you lose that s it good luck for the next one bro
The square box looks like maybe records storage box
We had those trunks in Korea as of 2018.... they're used at gun ranges where the soldiers stay for more than a week or two and they are put at the foot of the bunks just like the old movies

that wood box with grooves held record albums
32:00 this is a foot locker they use in boot camp
.......that was a low price you put on that magnificent cue stick......lol....I live in the thumb!
We put a low price on everything so no one can say we're inflating the resale prices
Jeremy I just watched the video about the magic cards within last 24 hrs, bought a 10*10 got a few large boxes of them. Ty for heads up on them!
If you do a little looking you can get into a electronic lock safe . The answer is totally magnetic?
that looks like a fire safe and did not look like concrete but more like asbestos
Yes, It is fire proof as well
I didn't think asbestos could be used anymore, but it is crumbly, and doesn't look like normal concrete that's used in a safe. Maybe it's an older kind with deadly cancer causing asbestos. A face mask respirator certainly should have been used.

The last locker was Army Corps of Engineers (the Castle is a give away!)
Carhart is worth much loads than $20 for that vest!! You need to look a Carhart resale.. !! It gets bank in prices!!! Used in great condition!!
The tool belt and the belt with water bottles and the vest is my size and thats is what I liked and wish I could get.

16:17 I am pretty sure that is a glass shipper case each rung was their to keep glass stationary in transit
Have been in the hostpital and havent been able to get on here. Now time to get my strength back and watch what i missed in july. Your faithful watcher in Oregon Cris....
5:07, those would be great for a car guys man cave or garage.
You should be able to make a pretty penny off the gas pump stuff, especially from someone fixing them up a man cave, pretty cool!
Thumbs up!!!
Clark
Love your show
that jacket is worth alot of money jacket is a real good rain jackets
There are some safes you can crack with a strong magnet and then reset the combination! Then you could resell the safe.
I love that carhartt vest!super cool y’all!from Muncie
Man! Everything was empty. Glad the unit was not!
Storage unit 750, sledge 40, spud bar 40, smashing a safe...... priceless
Most of those electronic safes can be opened with a strong magnet to release the solenoid lock. RUclips has videos that shows you how.
This is not one of those safes ... this has the plastic piece
Now don't blow into the call too hard
U can damage it
I don't know if you guys know or not, but if you call the safe company with model n serial number you can get the combo from them
I had one just like it in my bedroom as a kid back in the 60s my mother love antiques
Been waiting for part 2!
Jeremy, ya win some ya lose some! Still rooting for you and George though!!
Always love your videos but based on the fact that every trunk was empty, I didn't hold too much hope in the safe. Better luck next time!!
In my field jacket pocket you would find a dried up old bannan from 2002. Its a long store but its still there. Lol
7:20 Marines, not army.
I want the jewelry box. It reminds of my Grandmothers.
Please feel free to send me a reasonable offer with a screenshot of the item that you are interested in directly here: whatthehales@yahoo.com Keep in mind that shipping can be expensive. The email account will be checked once a week. Please do not worry if you do not get an immediate response.

Don't buy it from that storage place any more,
I lived in Harrison, Ohio for almost a year, three years ago. Nice little town.
Won’t the storage units management has already opened and took the valuables of those abandoned storage units? They must have access .
$700.00 towels? Empty totes? Bummer.
you should have tried 0-0-0-0 before you busted it open.
Best part was your rendition of "Rubber Ducky" much better than the Ernie version, should do a single, errr maybe not.
“That or bc George was around...” ❤️
Oh well, ya win some and lose some. But I think you may break even when u sell it all. Enjoyed the show tho. God Bless You two! 👌❤
Looks like you bought a lot of stale air! :-D
7:18 its United States Marine corps
You should try lotto scratchers
that second trunk with the engineer castle on top was to box something specific like a light set.
DUDE! THAT'S FORTRESS MAXIMUS, A HEADMASTER, AND NOT OPTIMUS PRIME.
Good luck on what's in there!
What was that web page to see on every that s been sold
Ebay? Or WorthPoint?
