There are a lot of "campers" but very very few true bushcrafters. Fairly new viewer here, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences with those of us who will never have the opportunity.
My favourite channel for doing this nature "sleepovers" posted. ☺Of course there are many and also amazing creators of this stuff, but I personally like your type. Keep it going! :)
Simple is good👍👍 Bed looks nice and can be made nicer if needed. Heated tent, soft, comfortable bed, don't know if I'd get up early or not...depends. Great video bro, thanks for the update on the newest Kusk Camp. See ya soon.
Love your channel brother. It's informative as much as it soothes the soul for getting us all back to nature. Greetings from Montreal, my fellow countryman!
It just makes sense to make a grass mattress considering the abundance of raw materials at your disposal. I'm glad to see someone finally making a more comfortable bed instead of just sleeping on a bunch of wooden poles. Nicely done! When you get time, you should finish up and make yourself a full size straw mattress!
I like the way you ran the polls lengthwise makes it have a little give. Your grass mat kind of reminds me of the old school 3/4 backpacking mats. I started my excursions Into the Woods at 20 now that I'm 66 I can appreciate an air mattress slipped in between a wool blanket.
Love these kinds of videos. Its the spark of imagination it creates that is so valuable. Thank you for everything you do and create, you always are a hard worker.
I just subscribed to your amazing channel. I love your content. It's so relaxing and grounding. Thank you for the great videos and please be careful out there.
Dang. I camped in Algonquin last summer on a brand new Coleman self-inflating pad, and I suffered through the nights. Very stiff in the morning. Not sure I could hack it out there.
Could smoke it prior. That's how you get rid of most buggies in materials in nature. Added benefit of smelling better and repelling things in the future.
Whoa there, you didn't hand craft your tent. I still think that nothing beats a heated casket. Keeps the heat it in, and if the battery dies, there's no extensive funeral planning.

Nothing wrong being just a camper though

A very comfy looking mattress. I like how you built this bed. It turned out great. Cheers, and God Bless! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦
Enjoy your little Woodsman series, to tag along as you make small still great improvments along the way!
Круто, тоже хочется побыть с природой на едине😊😊😊👍👍👍

Nice mattress design. As the grass fibers loosen up and break down it will become more comfortable I think.

Excellent video !
Looks like a good mattress making that bed comfortable!
Great work😁
Great quality time away from the noisy town
that bed was like an “ikea bed”…
that’s before the woods have been brought to the factory 😅 but your version is authentic. 100 % fresh from nature…

Beautiful!
Are there bears in the area?
With that dry grass mattress, you certainly don’t want to smoke in bed.

very cool!
There’s so much more grass to gather though!
good video👍

nice
Love the series! How’s the trapping season looking???
I'm curious, if you did this in warmer weather would you worry about bringing ticks in with the grasses? Is there anything you'd do to alleviate that?
Just put up with them, the deer do.

Is there ticks? I your neck of the woods brother. Thank you for your great videos. Cheers 🍻
looks cozy, just need a pipe and a pint before bed!!! Cheers 🥃🥃
💪👍👍👍
I’ve been watching this series. Nice work. I’m wondering if you are still planning on trapping this season.
I really enjoy your content! Thank you for sharing your skills!
Would you mind telling us where to get a tent like this??
Can you please make this into a playlist so we can watch them in order without having to search?
Done. I'll update the playlist as I continue the uploads. Thanks for watching.

Bro I'm 61 and could sleep on that no problem 😁
How do you keep from being bitten? Where I live the critters in dry grasses as just awful.
How do you deal with hygiene while in the woods? I mean washing up and if you have to poop ie. 😄
What tent stove do you use there?
How do you de-tick the grass?
Where do you dump?
🛌👌
Wow. Is that not somethin else, eh?

Great series bud, keep up the amazing work. Looks like a great excuse to work out how to build a DIY field scythe haha :D
That's the perfect size for me cause I'm short 😆, would definitely pass out on that 🥱😴🤙🤙🤙
