I saw Isaiah 26 at the beginning and got so excited!! It’s one of my favorite chapters, as well as my favorite hymn! I go to a small baptist church and we sing hymns and that’s one of them :) I really enjoy your videos Alana and have been blessed to see someone else who is dealing with post-Calvinism life and getting past all the pain it brought. Lovely video! These are so fun! Your skin is amazing and got me thinking I need to start a regimen. About 8 years or so I somehow stumbled upon “green beauty” articles and it made me really weary to use a lot of things. But “natural” products are usually way more expensive and expire way sooner. I also don’t want to expose my kiddos to any ingredients that might not be so great if I don’t have to. So I’ll be researching this more. Our coloring is similar too so it’s nice to see what works for others ☺️
I love Angie with hot and flashy i started watching her when I was 28 but more in depth now since I'm about to be 31 my skin has deff changed and i can tell I'm aging and get acne as an adult but Angie is amazing! I think I'll get some of those products you use! I try not to use too much otherwise my skin is irritated! Love your channel
❤️❤️ Lactic acid is skin exfoliating product so its better to use at night time routine, twice a week. ❤️❤️ yes, makeup product expires after 2-3 years of breaking its seal. ❤️❤️ I feel happy every time you upload. God actually made you beautiful both from inside and outside.
I know but Angie from hot and flashy has it in her morning skin care routine every day! I have not always done this, but when I saw her recent skin care vid I tried it for a few days. I wonder if she ever explains why she does this… so far I haven’t noticed any bad side effects.

I am so picky about scents, and Juliette is my favorite. Wish it wasn't so expensive .......most perfumes are. I bought the travel size last time to save a little.
Maybelline cheek heat sheer gel cream blush is a great cream blush for a natural look. (Walmart, Amazon, etc) ,In my opinion it's a good dupe for glossier cloud paint. You seem to have an olive undertone like me and I use the color nude burn. I feel it looks the most natural on me. It goes on very pigmented. You only need maybe half a pea sized amount on each side and blend it out. Honestly, I dont really wear anything but that here and there and spot cover with concealer if needed and it blends in very naturally with my skin. Thought I would throw that recommendation out there in response to your curiosity with liquid/cream blushes. Thx for sharing, I enjoyed your video. 🙂
Milani makes a really good cream blush too!! I’ve seen great reviews for this. I use Daniel Sandler watercolour blush but it’s not very affordable. Lasts all day.
Thanks for sharing. Elf camo is a great concealer but you can only use the tiniest amount. I actually add a small drop to my bb cream or foundation. I cannot find a blush that isn't frosty or shimmery so I use a matte lipstick. I love it! I put it on my face then blend with a brush. I use Milani matte naked 61. I'm older than you and these tips work for me. I do foundation, allow it time to soak in while I do my eyeshadow, (i use pressed powder as a base for a natural taupe shadow)then I blend foundation with a brush, take a Qtip to my lines to remove build up, then a light pwder over everything, then i do eyebrows and mascara. Long comment so I'll stop now, Lol. 😜
I left a comment about L’Oréal concealer earlier today and it’s gone😲. I was going to add that my dermatologist told me to put lotion (I use cerave PM) on before I put on retin A. It really helped the peeling. I still peel but it’s more minor.
