I love love love my CP. it’s um my personal everything. I need to improve my use and make it even more of a work horse. But it’s a work in process. 😝 Love it so much I ordered undated ones - one half year book just to play with and test layouts, a full B6 set so I can have it in the future if she stops making these and an A5 I’m moving into for work 😅 So on washi with thin paper like TRP or Stalogy you have to not lay the washi too tight. It helps if you pull out a long section from the roll longer than your page so you have some wiggle room to work from and then lay it without pulling on the washi so it’s not too tight and just nicely rests down and the cut off the excess on the edges. Prevents the paper from rolling. Wastes a little washi but for me I have so much never made issue 😂
OMG, the way you said "bone folder" the second time made me think of "Bone storm!" when you fight Lord Marrowgar from Wrath. I needed that chuckle. I think my favorite Pixar is The Incredibles!
I didn't think I'd like the Tomoe River Paper either originally - but I LOVE it!! Not to the exclusion of other paper, of course, I love ALL paper!! The thing that I most love about the Tomoe River Paper is how it feels used - which somehow tricks my brain into thinking I've been productive when I really haven't been.
My favorite Disney Pixar film has always been cars however more recently its become brave! There are a few that I haven't been able to watch past the first time watch because they have made me cry like up and inside out, like i know i will cry so I need to be in the right place to watch those! Love nemo though especially when pearl is talking to her twin sister on the tank 🤣🤣
Happy you're getting more settled in with home dialysis and your tomoe river planner. Toy Story 1-3! I haven't seen four because 3 was such a sweet closure to the Andy story line and at the time it was realeased my oldest was heading off to college and we all saw it together as a family. All my boys love the movies and have been obsessed with the series. Even the toys we bought for our first son have been favorites for each of our boys. Notion video please.
I'm glad you're enjoying the common planner so much, because I've also been really loving it so far this year. (Which helps me feel vindicated about relentlessly tracking one down after they were sold out)
Gonna betray my Disney roots, but my fave is Rise of the Guardians. Loved the addition of the Finding Nemo - I hear that quote in my head every time I srsly clean my house lol
My mom (also an April baby) was a fan of Hair as well and we listened to that album countless times...give me down to there hair, shoulder length or longer...the norm smashers of the time. ❤
I wanted to love the undated common planner I pre-ordered and literally everything about it is great....except the grid. I had hoped it wouldn't bother me as much as it does but it's made the book unusable to me. Which makes me really sad because I'm stuck with a book I can't use. I'm glad you're enjoying it though!
Bone folder always makes me laugh because when had a job buying art supplies for an online shop, one of my coworkers came in & said she needed us to stock "BONER FOLDERS" because she was having trouble finding one.
I love Turning Red. I really enjoy seeing how you set up your planner and the different systems you develop. Gives me lots of ideas to find systems that work for me because they’re not too complicated for me and I also use the hb90 system. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Finding Nemo is a top one. Lilo&Stitch is most fav. Until of course we get to Studio Ghibli as they win. When my nieces were younger putting on Ponyo was guaranteed to knock them out for a nap. I miss those days.
Toy Story and Monsters Inc are my faves :) Though I thought Inside Out was pretty amazing too with how well they created a connection for kids between the characters and our brains and emotions. But they're all adorable! Haha
