    Moment you mentioned deboned chicken feet, had to search for a video as I couldn't imagine how it could be accomplished. Time consuming and quite the process to accomplish the feet :)

    This is the first time i've seen them fried, kind of strange that this wasn't a thing earlier now that i think about it. I mean, throw it in a batter, fry it up and the people will eat it most of the time. I'm glad they came out better than you first imagined them to be ❤

    Should try Thai style chicken feet which is served cold, deboned and what appears to be bleached cos it looks pale white/pink colour.
    But it tastes amazing as it's made with sweet chili style flavour.

      You should try the dim sum style first, then move on to the deep fried. It’s harder to eat deep fried because you’ll need to know what to actually eat first. Deep fried is mostly batter, crunchy skin and ligaments and harder to discern and a lot goes to waste. When doing the dim sum style, you’ll be able to eat most of it and spit out the bones. My softball buddies who never had it, tried deep fried and basically wasted most of the good eating parts. 😂

    Is it anything like chicken gizzards when they aren't cooked long?

    • @ChickenThug55
      @ChickenThug55 Месяц назад

      It’s basically skin and ligaments. The rest is up to you to add the batter and spices. Gizzard is a whole different texture, taste and cook method/ time does matter. I usually boil to soften and expand the feet first, then air fry/deep fry after. Or just boil and add your sauces after for dim sum style.

    • @bonnibling
      @bonnibling Месяц назад +1

      Not only in Asian countries. My ancestry is Eastern European. My maternal grandmother would cook them, (as many as her country folks did) and suck the meat (really, the skin, as there's hardly any meat) off the bones. I tried it and found it gelatinous and gross. That's not meat you were showing, Ben, it's skin. It's tougher than carcass skin, because they're standing and walking on their feet!
