This show has never been been bettered, and never will be. I can watch the reruns over and over again and look forward to the next reruns and never tire of watching this wonderful cast.
There were a lot of great sitcoms made and being made but nothing can top ELR. The perfect fusion of cast, writing and chemistry with every episode a belly-full of laughs :)
@@langdonalger9219 Ok, and that's her business. Why is it yours? Just because she has specific taste doesn't make you any better than her or anyone else.
"Hey Father let me ask you something, would you know who invented the lawn?"...Peter's delivery still leaves me in fits of laughter to this day along with Doris's impeccable reaction and timing! Every nomination deserved!!
This show was so good because not only were their laugh out loud moments in every episode, the show was great at pulling back and hitting really wholesome emotional beats
This was an amazing sitcom. Brilliant writing is what's missing in today's boring sitcoms. I don't think there was one episode where I didn't LOL. To the writers, cast, and all others, thanks for nine seasons of belly laughs. And now I'll go binge for the fourth time.
Wow, Phil is that funny that i am a little bit sorry that he did not have a role in it himself....Patricia knocks the eyes out of your head in that dress, drop dead gorgeous...
Everything happens by chance. The writing and the cast come together and you have a gift. Everybody Loves Raymond, M*A*S*H, All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Cheers, and Seinfeld all had that for me and they are my favorites.
Took em long enough ;) this show is still one of the greatest sitcoms ever! I'm glad that it actually got the recognition it deserved. I just wish Peter would've won an emmy at least once so Raymond could be in that small club of tv casts where everyone won an emmy: All in The Family, The Golden Girls and Will and Grace.
I watch a episode of Every body love Raymond every night, I watched Marie's Meatballs last night and I still had tears coming down my face like the first time I saw it. Love this Show, oh and I just found out that David Letterman company (World wide pants) started it all. You want to laugh more , watch Ray Roman's interview with David Letter right on You Tube , The story of his kid stuck on the express is hilarious.
@@mikewhite4560 It's definitely one of the best ever along with Frasier, Seinfeld, Martin, Golden Girls, Sanford and Son, All In The Family, The Andy Griffith Show, The Honeymooners etc.
Great speech. I think TV executives might be the people in the world who are the worst at their jobs. Almost every great show succeeded in spite of TV executives, not because of them, Everybody Loves Raymond being a great case in point.
How can David Letterman not have an emmy for this show "Everybody Loves Raymond"? I mean cuz he is on one of the Executive Producers of this show , I don't get it !!

I've said for years, "This is the only show that makes me laugh out loud." Thanks for a wonderful show.
There’s no other show that makes you laugh out loud? You either don’t watch a lot of funny shows, or it’s tough to make you laugh.
@@langdonalger9219 The Funny Business is a tough one.

The BEST show! Every episode was great, and I still watch the reruns because they were funny and sad and true. Just like real life.

There are no shows like this anymore...
The 90's were great, clean, heart warming, like EBLR, The Nanny, Frasier .

How about M A S H?
Largest FINALE on Television HISTORY....
RIP Frank
Still the best, most clever, and delightfully subversive popular comedy.
R.I.P. Peter Boyle
R.I.P Doris Roberts and Sawyer Sweeten
+Kevin Haynes
Seems like most good sitcoms have one or two amazing actors, Fresh Prince with Will and Uncle Phil and Raymond with Peter Boyle R.I.P :(
Wouldn't say just two. Both shows had AMAZING ensembles across the board.
Phil’s so adorable. I just wanna eat him up.
