That is the same mephisto from earlier on in the story, you fought him at the same time with faust. Basically he went into an ancient machine to get healed and turned into some primal being.

Sacrophagi were these large devices used my the predecessors (ancient civilization human race, the doctor is the last predecessor alive) to heal anything. It can only be used my descendents of predecessors and that's part of the reason why mephisto turned into "The Singer" specifically, as he was part Liberi (bird race), he turned into an ancient liberi creature. His emotions and desire to sing for remaining phantom crossbowmen after Faust's final fight is what caused him to become the constantly singing bird we now know as "The Singer"
He said that he couldn't get anything that he *wanted* from gacha. I don't think he really want Typhon. So it's make sense for him not rising her. No matter how good she is, she is an off banner pull. He might have some kind of resentment on her. Just like how I refuse to raise several of my off banner 6*. SilverAsh is a good unit and as much as I like to glaze him Saria is better overall (especially for you because you have Logos that goes even more ham when used alongside Saria's S3) SilverAsh does have a very very good support ability tho, if you have him simply on your squad he'll lessen the redeployment time of all operators, and with the module he'll cut down that time even more if you place him around someone you want to redeploy later.

So, uhhh. I'd recommend skipping JT8-3 for now. It's possibly one of the hardest stages in the game and you will suffer greatly if you attempt it. Instead, you could start clearing more events or move to Chapter 9.

Wow when I played the mephisto map originally, i didn’t have walter or logos suffice it to say it did not go as easily. Also It is funny the tone and mood difference when killing a boss if you don't know the story.

When you do IS again Amiya is versatile since you can change her class whenever you want, If you lack a healer,guard or caster she can take those roles just switching classes by getting out of IS then go to the operator menu and then switch Amiya's classes around whichever you see fit and whatever current class she has get's carried over in IS when you continue in the middle of an exploration in IS

I am using my recruitment tickets to get 4 stars so I can save 180 gold tickets for a good 6 star. It still hurts emotionally but I get it. Gacha has to got ya.

The condition to unlock the secret ending are : - Escort Tallulah: end with 50% HP on her at the end - Rosmontis (with the line of defender) : at the end there should at least a certain number of defenders (3 or 4) I can't remember very well - the bird boss : let the boss enter in the blue box, you'll lose 1 HP but it's the hidden condition - the last boss Tallulah: use amiya guard in your squad (for this level, you may want to use Logos s3 to stop the fireball barage she throws at your face each time she die)
That Silver Ash kill the drone in 5 hits. That’s probably a moduled Silver Ash. And I think you just survived the stage because of that module. Also, please retreat him after he use his skill.
Oh! by the way, you still get full rewards for completing a level with no leaks, even with a support unit! However, using a support unit blocks *autoplay*, which means you can't farm the level. ... my input was not necessary.
Yeah, JT8-3 is definitely too ambitious for you right now. Back when I tried it in my first year of playing many years ago, I didn’t have Nightingale. I had to depend on Surtr and Specter’s immortality to tank a certain attack, along with Nightmare and Durin’s arts dodge talents. Back then we didn’t have as many broken operators as we do now, and we had to overcome the stage with clever utilization of operators and smart deployments. Even borrowing a broken 6 star isn’t enough for you at your levels and your experience (the level is a pain even with guides because there is so much micromanaging).
Fun fact (spoilers btw, but since you're unlikely to read the story it wont matter but it should give you critical insight to orientate as to wth is going in, because ch8 was pure art): it was made vague why chapter had two independent storylines running parallel to one another - the bottom half was exploring Talulah through flashbacks, but it wasn't made clear why we, as the player, were experiencing the story. Turns out that the bottom half was basically Amiya pulling off a Professor Xavier on Talulahs Magneto - she was effectively exploring Talulahs mind as the top half (the present) part of the story went on to find countermeasures against Talulah, anything that would tip the scales in RIs favour. Turns out an ancient, immortal deity-like entity basically brainfvvvcked Talulah and corrupted her intent. It's not so much he mind-controlled her, its more akin to Shinjis bankai, where she couldn't tell up from down - he basically inflicted Talulah with such severe case of acute dementia she could not separare her own will from Balck Snakes, and as a result is juggling contradictory narratives of whether it was she whose entirely guilty of those horrible war crimes, it black snake - suffice to say, she seems to blame herself for succumbing to an eldritch entity that basically groomed her from when she was a child and violated her mind like that ( she was always extremely antagonistic towards BS, and always struggled to reject the fate that BS has carved out for her). You can basically compare BS and Talulah to All for One and Shigaraki from MHA on steroids - like, its bordering on warhammer 40k levels of fvcked up. Oh, and there's plot B surrounding late Patriot regarding the troops that enact his will post mortem (Buldrokkas'tee) and Mephisto post-faust incident, but I wont go into detail (unless you really want to and say please 😘)
