Yeah, Eurovision 2021 was fantastic! Don't worry about people from Italy (I'm Italian btw) or France or any other Country. Like every place on Earth it just depends on what kind of people you get in touch with but I can tell we're pretty friendly. That kind of hate can lay and hide anywhere, we know that, even if we abominate that, but it's gonna be neutralised by good people and there's a lot of them so don't be scared to move and visit places or you're gonna regret it. There's so much beauty to see. Hope to have you in Italy soon ☀🇮🇹🎶

Just to point out a lot of the Russian participants have come out and condemned the war, so whilst they were representing the country a lot of them are against the war and some have even participated with anti-Russian government songs.
With the "Russia & Ukraine" thing, I'm pretty sure they mean that both countries separately have that many entries in the compilation, not added together.

And this is part 1 right? Cause you almost stopped half way through the list. The white flag with the Island/country on is Cyprus, for example you seemed to love their entry El diablo. I agree, Voila is great, and it deserved 2nd place in 2021, my fave was Måneskin the Italian winners, and yes you should react to the whole Molitva 2007 performance, the song is so beautiful, I'm so glad it won that year.
What are you talking about? 2021 was pretty shit by recent Eurovision standards. There were a few good songs and performances and they came first, second and third. After the 2020 contest was cancelled due to Covid, many thought that the 2021 contest would also be cancelled so they didn't really bother to enter good songs and singers. 2022 was epic. A year sadly won by a sympathy vote for sad reasons but in which the songs and singers who placed second, third and fourth could have won in most other years. 99. Rasmussen, Higher Ground, Denmark 2018....... hell yeah! What were the juries seeing or hearing to score them so low? The public voted them much higher. 94. Michael Schulte, You Me Walk Alone, Germany 2018...... one of the favourites that year but disappointed. 90. Dadi etc, 10 Years. Iceland 2021.... nowhere near as good as Think About Things that would have been their entry in 2020 by the same group but the contest was cancelled - the Eurovision winner that never was. 87. Jedward, Lipstick, Ireland 2011 .... great song and performance by twins that are more talented than they're given credit for. 75. Robin Bengtson, I Can't Go On, Sweden 2017 - memories of Justin Timberlake 2016 voting interval performance. 73. Maria Serifovic, Molitva, Serbia 2007 - How did that crap win? 72. Dimar Bilan, Believe, Russia 2008 - He was high as a kite as he was the next time he competed. 68. Domenico Midugno, Volare, Italy 1958 - Many don't even realise that this classic was a Eurovision entry (and didn't win). 67. Babushkas, Party for Everybody, Russia 2017 - what a pile of shit! 65. Barbara Pravi, Voila, France 2021 - excellent but there was only ever one winner from the start (all-time favourite though? ......... You need to watch more!).
