I loved watching your reactions as you rode! And I’m so glad you give it so much love. I’ve felt like it’s been this underrated treasure that got overlooked and dismissed because it’s in Worlds of Fun which isn’t one of the top parks.

I love hearing the praise for my beloved Prowler! I like it more than Mystic Timbers by quite a bit, and I take nothing away from MT. Prowler was the first coaster that made me realize that taller and faster isn't everything, after my first rides in 2011. The setting, awesome airtime, laterals, relentlessness, terrain usage, night rides, the awesome ride ops; Prowler is elite!
It's a more aggressive version of Mystic Timbers. The turns are sharper... I love it. Try eyes closed!
I waited a full 3 hours in order to go on it at night...
It was worth it
Opened in 2009, actually 😉 I was a season passholder from 2007-2018 and when I went a couple months ago for the first time in a few years, I was blown away at this coaster's intensity. Completely forgot how crazy it is from start to finish and I think I have to agree that it's currently my favorite in the park.
Night time ERT on Prowler was so good! Great layout.
It's great to see that you guys are back at my home park. I'm really looking forward to your review of the new Zambezi Zinger.

This was my second rollercoaster ever. My first was mamba. When I was 8 years old, my dad convinced me to ride it with him and it was amazing. So then we decided to ride this smaller wooden coaster thinking it wouldn’t be nearly as crazy as mamba. Well we are very wrong, prowler is aggressive and I still have a keychain where both our faces are smiling on mamba and another keychain where we’re both terrified.
Those people in the row behind them at the start were hilarious 😂
Night rides are so insane on Prowler. An yes, I'm one of those who prefers Prowler over Mystic Timbers. Mystic is a bigger version but I somehow feel like the Prowler just has a slightly better layout, it's relentless, where Mystic has a few moments where you can catch your breath. Granted those moments on Mystic are very short, both coasters are amazing.
I just rode Mystic for the first time this year. Been riding prowler since it opened. From the hype from thoosies I expected MT to be a step above prowler. While a great ride, I think it's a tiny step below.

This ride is the sole reason I own a season pass to WOF. It's always a walk on and you can marathon it for an hour or so and be done with your day.

Theres a lateral ejector airtime moment near the end by the lift hill that is amazing
Being from Omaha, Worlds of Fun is kinda my home park by default so its safe to say I've ridden Prowler more than any other coaster as its my favorite in the park. Mystic Timbers takes the edge over this one for me personally just because it's a little bit smoother and I felt like it had a few extra pops of ejector which Prowler has a little more focus on laterals. Still in my top 20 but of the four GCIs I've done, I rank Prowler just above Renegade and just below Mystic Timbers.

Being from the Kansas City area originally, WOF my home park growing up and even my employer for two summers. However; by the time this was built, I no longer lived in the area and have never gotten to ride it. As far as the night rides are concerned at the park, they are freaking amazing. I've had several night rides, even after the park had closed to guests thanks to the employee ride nights and free admission whenever I was not at work.

It does. Mystic Timbers is smoother, and it's at a more popular park, which is why it gets more attention, but Prowler is better.

I wish I could have went to Worlds Of Fun since I had a small road trip to Kansas City, but I guess I will have to wait and go there another time. And wait... does this mean Sarah finally gets to go to Silver Dollar City??!!

ITS A FANTASTIC NIGHT RIDE
It's running SO well. I must've got some work done recently, because in the past few years it was starting to get a bit rough and lackluster, but I rode a couple of months ago and was floored by how great it was. It's running like it was in it's opening years, maybe even better.
If they did have GCI handle the retrack work recently then they would have used their newer wood that'll maintain smoothness better than the older materials used in 2007.

2009 not 07. Won golden ticket for best new attraction. This thing is relentless from drop to brakes and night rides use to be alot better before they put that light in the back by the turn around

Most GCI coasters are very fun, but this one stands out. It's an absolute blast.
Prowler has a more diverse and interesting layout than Mystic Timbers.
I've always thought the same thing. I love Mystic Timbers so much, but Prowler is easily better.
@@OklahomaCoasterFan Personally I’ve always thought Mystic Timbers is overrated. I hear so many people saying it’s far and away the best GCI, and I like the ride, but honestly I prefer the ride experiences of Thunderhead, Wodan Timbur Coaster, Renegade, and Prowler. I bet when I go on GoldStriker I’ll like that more too.
@@masontheis4489 I think Gold Striker is easily better than Mystic Timbers. I even felt that Kentucky Rumbler was as good as, if not better than, Mystic Timbers.
