I've done the same, held 6 ships back on C cap for over 12 minutes. Managed sink 4 while my team got rolled by the other 6. Was a horrible way to lose lol.

I mean, as a cv main I would prefer if rocket planes didn’t have a delay. Most cvs are now wholly unequipped to handle dds and subs, whether it be due to rocket amount or lack of rocket damage entirely. Personally I’d like to see the cv lines have rocket delay by nation, total planes per individual attack squadron, and rocket type. For example: Midway - US CV HE rockets : 0.4 second delay per plane in attack squadron, 1.2 seconds total Nahkimov - Soviet CV HE rockets : 0.5 second delay per plane in attack squadron, 4 seconds total Hakuryu - Japanese CV HE rockets: 0.2 second delay per plane in attack squadron, 0.6 seconds total Etc, etc. And all AP rockets have a static 0.1 second delay per plane in the squadron, aside from the Soviet CVs which will have a 0.2 second launch time. This will help balance out CV lines that have good rockets like the Soviet and US CVs, while giving the nations like the Japanese and German CVs that don’t have good rockets (GZ specifically because her rockets are complete shit even being HE) a better chance to actually do something. And since AP rockets have no chance of starting a fire they have the easiest time to line up a good attack run without worrying about all the rockets either getting overpens, shatters, or bounces from an enemy with good rudder shift or better than average armor.
I actually played with that Golden Lion Player. He bitched all game after getting sunk in less than five minutes. I was spotting with the Halland, and he said I wasn’t doing my job because I couldn’t find a Shima (I repeatedly told him it was in smoke and to watch for his torps) he got sunk by it’s torps and blamed me for terrible spotting I later killed it after a DM used Radar He said “wow, nice on killing the shima, too bad you can’t spot for shit :)” Me: 125k spotting damage
The problem is that the rus cvs abuse a game mechanic for fighter de-tag , that is what makes them immune. The way it works is if you execute an attack competly and the fighters ignore the returning planes. The idea is to avoid a bug in which the fighters will select the returning planes instead of the remaining planes (as they cant breake into 2). The problem is that the russ cvs dont have remaining plans as all are attacking ,so the fighters let them go unmosted. I've been abusing this mechanic for a long time to attack true fighter screens , its comical how effective it is.
Yes, you can see the end result 220k is on the Conq. The problem is that the UK BBs are just HE spunge , that is why rockets are so effective against them. That hudge deck with 0 armor is just a free XP peniata for HE spamers and CVs , that is why they have 3D printer for HP.
There is a bug with replays that sometimes prevents the aiming reticle from moving. For the actual player the arc was narrow, but the replay doesn't reflect this. Known issue that WG doesn't feel like fixing.
hey, which commander skills do you prefer? i actually go for full torp but on wargaming wiki i red its better to go for plane tp/speed and dmg reduction
Yeah... DOT effects, citadels, and module damage should be unobtainable for all CVs. No Fires. No Floods. No destroying AA or Secondaries. No citadels. He did 120k in DOT. 120K is a good game in a surface ship.
To bad the CV was so focused on just farming big damage numbers and NOT spot the DDs that Golden Lion players was asking him 100 of times, then it could have been a world record and a win. I played Malta one game and my team started to throw big time so I just focused the 3 remaining DDs on the enemy team and killed them all and we won. But I got 120 K damage in that game, but I secured the win. In my book that is better. Its not really hard to get crazy damage numbers in a Naki, especially if youre focused on loosing. He could have killed of those Conqueror or Preussen that he started to farm when they both got really low, but instead he switched focus and let them both heal up. Makes no sense, unless you only want more HP to damage farm. By doing this he got half his damage, 234 000 damage out of the Conqueror alone.

Dokładnie, może zrobił by ok. 150k dmg. mniej, ale za to by była gra zespołowa i wygrana. Lepiej zrobić mniej dmg, ale grać zespołowo. Większość bitew (które widziałem) w których pada ponad 400k dmg, to są przegrane przez egoizm. Powinien wrócić tryb RTS, ale jakoś bardziej dopracowany. Aktualnie gra na lotni jest mniej skillowa niż przedtem, widać to dobitnie po statach. Teraz ok. 550 ma fioleta na haku, a na trybie RTS ok. 160 graczy.

My point is that due to significant balance changes, as well as a shift in the meta, affecting all (high tier) CVs comparing 2022 CV performance to 2019 CV performance (when they were handled even worse in terms of balancing) is not very useful and currently I'd rather fight a haku than a nakhimov and in general this is even more broken considering they spend three years nerfing the entire class with game mechanics changes (compared to peak hellkuryu times).

I played a lot of BBs and bunch of CAs but after a while, getting spammed by HE ships with smokes and low reload CD gimmicks, Subs that you can't spot for shit and deal tons of damage with 5.5km to 2km concealment? I pretty much gave up on playing surface ships and have finally resides on playing CVs for quite a while now and actually having fun shitting on those surface ships like there's no tomorrow. Cv have a hard time hunting dd due to the concealment range, hence why most cv would just spot dd and target cruisers and bb.
