Democrats are the greater risk. We know what Trump will do. We seen it 4 years.
And it was good. The justices gave us Bruin, forcing even liberal nut job activist judges to use an originalist interpretation of the constitution.
That alone is worth another 4 years of Trump.

It was a peaceful protest and the democrats allowed the people into the capitol building. No one was rioting and burning shit down. How is Trump an Unnecessary risk. The man was already president everyone benefitted. The world has gone batshit crazy since Biden and Harris took office. Insanity.

@@judyritsema9528 At least she talks coherently and is normal, she has actual experience, she is significantly younger and sharper. Everyone that worked under trump hated and abandoned him. He didn't get anyone to work together with him. He is a bad leader and bad businessman with all standards. He's just an unnecessary risk like I said, while KH just would bring the heat down and bring normal back. Trumps legacy always was and will always be just chaos and division.
If he isn't elected, I feel republicans can finally step back and take a breather. They can bring their values back from this maga madness. He's not deserving of a hill to anyone to die on.

My thoughts on why a Republic would vote for the Democratic candidate (or a Democrat voting for the Republican nominee): we have a two party system so basically if you don't vote for the nominees from your party, voting for anyone that's not from the opposing party (Democrat or Republican) your vote is pretty much "wasted" and only ends up splitting the vote. This has been (at least for the people I know personally) the view since I first was able to vote in the 2000 election. If you really don't like your party's nominee, your only option is to vote for the other side so that person you don't believe is fit to be president or that you view as very dangerous to democracy and our country doesn't win the election. Isn't that what our elections are supposed to be? Free and fair? So many people complain about sheep just voting along party lines, but when someone from one of the major parties actually does flip their vote (mind you this doesn't mean they flipped parties per se), there are calls shouted from the mountain tops about how they are corrupt, clueless, a traitor. So which is it? Vote for who you think most closely aligns with your values and issues you are passionate about regardless of your party affiliation and be labeled as the above, or blindly vote along party lines and be a sheep. I guess at the end of the day, you have to pick which label you can live with knowing that you voted for the candidate you think is most qualified.

I say vote however you want, and keep it to yourself. That’s how it used to be in this country. Now, it’s like people think they have the right to corner other folks up and force them to reveal their political opinions when they may not want to even discuss politics. I can remember back at the very beginning of the 90’s, my mom telling me, “Never discuss religion or politics in public or with strangers.” She was right and our country back then was better and more civil for it. We should make that a thing again. JMO 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have to disagree on the Constitution being perfect, as long as there are qualifiers. The original Constitution left out and excluded certain persons based on gender, race, etc. and thus amendments came about to remedy those, and other troubling . If you are referring to our current Constitution as it stands now, that's one thing, but if the Constitution was so perfect to begin with, why the need to add in the Bill of Rights and amendments (26 amendments btw) that have happened throughout its' inception? I believe we should follow the Constitution, but nothing is perfect in my opinion, not even the Constitution.

It's a lesser of the two evils type situation and he feels that Harris is the lesser of those two evils. I have always thought it was strange that people believe that someone who names themself as Dem or Repub are expected to automatically vote along party lines. I certainly don't vote along party lines, I vote for what I believe most closely matches my own values, beliefs, and vision for our country. I think all people should do that whether that means you vote for the person or policies from your affiliated party or not.
