  • The Manhattan Prestige Basses Session One Jazz Bass is the result of over 50 years of bass mastery.
Neil Jason & Jack Thompson - The Driving Forces Behind Manhattan Prestige Basses
Behind every great instrument company is a team with a clear vision, deep expertise, and an unwavering commitment to quality. In the case of Manhattan Prestige Basses, that team is bassist extraordinaire Neil Jason and industry veteran Jack Thompson. This brand meeting of minds promises to combine ergonomic design with years of touring experience whilst staying true to those classic lines we all know and love.
The culmination of Jason and Thompson's collaboration is the Session One bass, Manhattan Prestige's inaugural offering. From the ground up, this instrument was designed to provide professional-grade tone, feel, and performance at a reasonable price point. As Neil Jason eloquently stated, “I wanted to create an instrument that anybody could play, across all genres of music, at a reasonable price.”

50 years of bass mastery in one instrument? Is a copy of Jazz Bass? Oh come on! It should have been Precision!

Of course 80% of the demo is played so low in volume you can barely hear it! Where, where else can you find those features……pretty much every other bass out there!

Sounds like every other one of the hundreds of bass guitars. Wish manufacturers would stop with new basses. Enough already lol!!!
