Black people in BA... you'll probably see a few black tourists or immigrants around touristic areas. Or you can go to Once neighborhood. Or Flores. African immigrants work there as street vendors. Just be careful with your phone 🤳🏻 and 💰. Not as safe as other places.
You got played on the diapers. The con is, you buy the item at highly inflated prices, the con man brings the item back to the store after you leave and they split the money and sell the item again.

The same thing happened to my sister in Egypt. Bottled water is a must, even to brush your teeth. Street food is part of the tourist experience for most, but I avoid it even in the US.
Yeah well Peru and Argentina are completely different countries and have nothing in common other than the language. That's like me getting food poisoned in Mexico and then assuming it will be the same in Canada or the USA because all three countries are located in North America.
I traveled many places and love street food and the rule is always the same, eat at busy places where the food is getting cooked well, like on a grill. Avoid salad.
Buenos Aires tap water is pretty safe, just avoid not cooked food. People here lost much of the obsession with alcohol for hand cleaning since covid, but still is in use everywere, you could find it in most restaurants and bathrooms.

Actual chimichurri sauce here is made with dried product and hydrated with oil and vinegar , because the Parrilla for Asado is an Outdoor thing, you bring a bottle from your house with your homemade chimichurri and it last a week in the fridge, the more you let it rest, more flavor it takes on. the industries, tourism , agricultural, etc ask the government for a devalution of the peso, to be competitive with the rest of the world, the thing is that with this prices, the government is amassing a lot of dollars that people spend . Don't beat yourself up over the diapers. The poverty rate in Argentina has spiked to 53% under the new president's policies. There are surely lots of parents that need costly diapers. Worst case scenario, some entrepreneur "scammed" you and he'll resell them below cost to some other poor folks. At the end of the day, some baby gets diapers thanks to you either way.
I think it is the policies of the last 50 years that have set the poverty rate. Argentina should be like Canada or Australia, instead socialism wrecked everything.

Do they have people on Cycle stealing like in Brazil for example?
In NYC we have been getting that from the migrants mostly Venezuelan gangs.
Amigo andá a vivir a Brasil, te vas a sentir mas cómodo y a gusto ahí.
bro Brazil is one of the most unsafe countries in S.A. WTF
Fun observation, nothing serious:
You mentioned Australia. RUclipsr Czech in effect is doing a series in Australia at the moment. Its interesting to see many black people walking around in Australia. More than all the Argentina content on the internet. I would never have guessed Australia would have more black people than Argentina. Considering, being next door to Brazil !!!
Again, this is just an observation. Nothing serious
🦁🇦🇷
Prices are getting on par with developed countries (not saying Argentina and Uruguay aren't developed, but you know). I wonder what prices are like in Mexico or Columbia. I could not a huge piece of meat like that by the way lol
Argentina its a developed country. Not at the same level as US or Australia but still ...
Mexico is cheaper than Argentina now.
Argentina it's Developed country, with the best water in the Continent ❤
Sly, have you ever come down with Traveler's Stomach in your South American travels? I came down with a very severe case of it in Peru in May of this year. I lost 25 pounds; found out I was infected with amoebas. I'm a little afraid to tour the rest of South America now!
Any idea how you got infected?
Dollars are widely accepted.
Sly, would you ever partner up with other RUclipsrs?
Peter Santenello maybe?
a cup of wine...do they serve wine in cups in Uruquay...
The direct ferry "Buquebus" just takes 2.30 hours. First class not worth the price.
Saludos desde Buenos Aires
@@JustinCase780 Of course, just wanted to add info. As I live since 20 years in Baires and sometimes, inspecting the "girl´s frontier" in Montevideo ("Baires" best place of redlight) and ASU.
Have fun and always a good steaak close at hand.
There is nothing cheap in a place where there is staggering inflation , Man .
fortunately inflation is now under control, price fixes a disappearing, wages growing
lots of positives in argentina and to think it was on the verge of hyperinflation a year ago, remarkable turnaround
@@elduderino7767 LOL, yeah now everything is expensive there. USA prices with African wages. Tourists might return when there is a new election.
@@GrandChessboard please, argentina is a 3rd world country, the poorest in latin america
why do you think milei won? lol
the problem is you expect things to turn around instantly, structural reform of economies turn like oil tankers, not light switches
right now argentina is on the path to becoming a 1st world country, the worst of the transition is over - unless of course you have an unproductive job working for the state, the time for leeching off the state is over
Argentina’s inflation has fallen dramatically under the new president; still high, but much better.
All I hear in Gringo English inside of that restaurant.
LOL, no Argentinian can afford that meal. I went two summers ago and got a steak for 1/3 of that price.
“Cup of Wine?!” Whet the French is that?!😅
What is the best place you travel so far that would be nice for a black american for about 30 days, 10k spending
Goddam, where ever it is I’m going with you😂
Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, most Caribbean countries..
It depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for Nature Argentina is a good place whether in Summer or Winter. It depends if you love heat or cold. but it also has its interesting cities to know beyond Buenos Aires capital. It's a matter of looking for information and places. greetings.
Chimichurri sauce is supposed to be green….
The American version somehow took the parsley and the rest of the ingredients fresh and chopped big.
lol $30 i might as well go to the U.S. , what the point of Argentina now .
You could just stay in the US or go to Europe for those prices. Wait a few years when they run this government out.
@@GrandChessboard I've read what they're gonna do all over the world. They don't plan on going, what they consider to be, backwards. If they have their way, those days are over.
A Ribeye that size and bottle of wine would cost you $75 at a fast food steak house in the USA.
@@Rainy_Day12234 LOL, maybe in New York City or L.A. Most places it would cost around the same price.
the industries, tourism , agricultural, etc ask the government for a devalution of the peso, to be competitive with the rest of the world, the thing is that with this prices, the government is amassing a lot of dollars that people spend . To be that way, Milei needs that general population spend his savings. Poverty certainly is in the rise, unemployment etc, but inflation fall, because there's no money to buy anything. So this is the time to travel here, when things are still calm, at some point next year things will explode if the economy doesnt get better.
I hope you can visit NYC, so worth it! Haters will hate, but I find it magical, especially during the Holidays! 🥰
No hate, it was definitely a better place to visit pre DeBlasio.
I love❤me some NYC🗽
feel like there has to be cheaper steak joints in BA.
there are
Usa Costco Honolulu, 3 ribeye steaks cost $100.
Safeway, Reno, NV. Bone-in rib roast $19/lb, so they were running $120-$220 depending on size. Glad my family likes turkey for Thanksgiving, 0.49/lb.
how much to pay a chef to cook it for you, throw in a bottle of win, a mash that serves like 3 people and bread
then a 20% tip haha
@@elduderino7767 LOL, it is still cheaper in the USA than down there now. Argentina won't be getting those dollars and euros from tourists anymore.
@@GrandChessboard you couldn't be more wrong, argentina is going to see an explosion in tourism as it's leaves the 3rd world behind
in Buenos Aires a kilo of Bife de Chorizo, three pieces, maybe, is 12 to 18 dls.
$30! How do locals afford that place with local salaries? Wow.
We cook hahaha
Por 30 dolares puedes comprar 3kg de bistec de maxima calidad. Solo hay que cocinar.
@@fichinesonline yea but there was a line at the restaurant
They werent cooking that night, lol

How expensive!! Milei
And he dramatically lowered inflation. It was much worse a few years ago.
Cost of living really went to the sky with the new goverment. Yeah, inflation is going down but the cost of living is at the roof
This is what they're doing everywhere. It is written in their old playbooks and in their new books.
Hola Che, it will super better soon, Argentina with Milei glorious time for all Argentinians coming 🙌
“A cup of wine”😂
Who would've thought that keeping hardened criminals behind bars would have such a profound effect.....
You sound just like another RUclipsr called Lamont at Large, if we never saw you on camera I'd think you were him honestly haha
Coals are wood bro.
Actually, according to Google:
Coal is organic, since it is made from plant material. (Not all plant material making up coal is 'wood'; quite a lot of it was leafy plant material, mosses, and other non-trees.)
@@websurfer5772 you believe what google feeds you?
@@websurfer5772 Well, coal is not something people normally cook with, bad idea. Charcoal on the other hand....
@@BlazingShackles Oh yeah... you're right and it's mostly made from wood.
I never see Black people in BA, do you see any other's there?
Wanna see black people? Go to Once Neighborhood. Lots of African immigrants there.
In most cases you see them selling fake jewelry on the street.
He's in the tourist part of the city, ther are balck people from all over, the main comunity is from Senegal, ( muslims, you wont find them there ), from Brazil and from Venezuela. They work as street vendors or in commercial work
14:00 que ricooooo
Steak a little overcooked.
not in argentina!
Do you like my country right lol
why you eatin well done meat bro. might as well be eating an old boot.
Argentina should be like Canada or Australia, instead socialism wrecked everything.
you sound like jimi hendrix.
Jimmy is the G.O.A.T
Cup of wine lol
I went earlier in this year in Janaury, official exchange was 600 and unofficial was 1100. High end meals about $10, bus was 6 cents and the train was 12 cents I think... There's no way i'd go to BA again with these prices. Food was disgusting
unfortunately a product of the inflation that we have suffered for years. but saying that the Food is disgusting is irresponsible. I saw many RUclipsrs who are from abroad and enjoy Argentine foods. You probably didn't go to the right places. I'm sorry if you didn't get a good experience but don't exaggerate.
