Awesomeness! That wrap ball looks like fun! I have been seeing it on social media. My great great grandchildren live in Waddington. Their parents or grandchildren live there also. Hehehe... that's who would be playing. The greats are too small yet. So I haven't tried it yet. I think when we move to our new forever home I'll have a party and have that there. Not this coming year, but next year, like July 15th. That will be our anniversary. That would be fun. Like a thank you for coming gifts in there and a nice one at the end. Sugar-free candies are in there to include the older kids! Hehehe...! I love all your pages! In your journals! They turned out great! Yeah! Thank you for sharing! God bless! Love hugs and prayers, my friends! ✨️😇💖🤗🙏✨️
We have a very similar game for kids called 'pass the parcel' where we wrap up a central prize and then wrap it in newspaper or wrapping paper each layer may have sweets (candy) or small treats or toys. We do it to music, so the parcel is passed around the circle and when the music stops that person opens the next wrapping and gets the small prize until the end. It was so fun we usually had it as a birthday party game for kids, quite often the birthday girl or boy gets the last prize in the centre. 😊😊 Its getting cold here now we could get snow tomorrow. It will be going below freezing brrrrr ❄️⛄🥶 I enjoyed spending time with you to Elizabeth ☺️☃️❄️Happy New Year keep well my lovely 😘
Snow, really? Stay warm 🥶 it’s been chilly here 69 F (20 C) in the house and high 40’s (8 C) outside which is super cold to me!! That game is so fun 🤩 I’m so glad our DIL introduced it to us. Be well 🕊️
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth yes snow arrived over night, everything is white! I love seeing it but don't want to go out into it. My snowman building days are over!! 🤣🤣❄️⛄🥶
My family played a similar game with wrapping paper but had to wear oven mittens on thier hands it was hilarious watching them. The dice were used of course and when a double was rolled the mittens passed on to next person on thier right. They sat at the dining table.
So happy you are continuing to do the monthly spread calendar!! I finished mine and looking forward to another year of inspiration from you. Terri B👏😊🐱
Love this! I watched a video where a teacher wrapped things for her 4th grade students in the Saran Wrap ball. They had so much fun unwrapping it. On NYE, we just watched football and stayed cozy at home. Many blessings to you and your family.
Happy New Year, Elizabeth, and all the best! Love the monthly spread, it is absolutely amazing what you are doing with just a tiny box per day. Stay warm! Doris
Sorry for yelling, "Elizabeth, fussy cut one of the books!!!" 📚 You had a sticker with 3 books piled together. Anyway, I know you found a way.😊 I know my desk looks too scary to me. 😬😱😲😵 I need to at least get a corner cleared, and that will help me feel better. Yay...you started 2025 calendar 🎉❤ I'm sitting and doing a happy dance. And that's what we all need to do, take each day at a time. Have a blessed day everyday💞
