    Do I need to apply for three separate e-visas for each of us, or can my daughter be added to either mine or my wife’s e-visa? I’ve tried looking up information on RUclips, but it hasn’t been very helpful.
    If anyone has recently traveled to Vietnam with kids, I’d really appreciate your insights.

I just returned from Vietnam in January. I carried 1000 USD and wherever I needed, I just walked into any Jewellery store and exchanged 300 USD each time whenever I needed. For anywhere where they accept card, directly use your Indian credit card. Better than withdrawing from ATM there. IDP (INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT) is mandatory... IDP is required to drive in any country in the world except your own country. Sometimes in some countries the local authorities may not ask about this. But take an IDP to be careful yourself. If for any reason there is an accident, a lot of trouble will increase. In addition, in some countries, violating traffic laws can result in jail and fines.

    @wandering monk thank you so much for the wonderful guide through Vietnam. I am quite confused regarding booking of internal flights, the link given is of 12goasia is it good? Have you booked all internal flights via 12goasia? And what about hotels in Vietnam on which site have you booked the same?

    Which of the Niyo cards to be used SBM or DCB. Is there any limit on the reversal of ATM withdrawal charges...Not clearly available on the website.

      I used to use DCB one but now they have changed the rule & charge 425 +GST per withdrawal. Earlier it used to be free for first 3 transactions.

      No one check any license in reality on papers neither Indian license is sufficient not along with IDP. Just go hire bikes on rent & try not to run into police.

    Greetings Mr wandering monk first of all I would thank you for creating such vlogs on RUclips it really motivated me to visit vietnam which i am going in July.I had a question i tried to check the conversion rate from Inr to viet dong on book my forex i put 10k inr out of which they are only giving me viet dong worth 4k inr and the rest 6k inr are their commission. So i was only going to carry USD to vietnam and is there an atm at the hanoi airport where i can withdraw money as soon as i land for my taxi and sim and can convert the usd later in the old quaters

    • @WanderingMonk
      @WanderingMonk  Год назад +1
