It's actually funny to see that AOT is so popular now because I remember watching it when it launched and talking about it with my friends and people on the internet but no one knew what it was and when I recommended it they used to say that it was garbage. Really nice to see that people like it now

I remember when i got aot recommended to me 4 years ago by some dude i was talking to on the gram,i was still relatively new to anime, so when i attempted to watch it,it boreddd me out so much..only reason i started it was because i liked noragami back then and it shared some voice actors so i thought id try to stick with it..i eventualy dropped it and picked it back up last year ( because it had gotten popular) but i still never finished it
@CEREBRUS i agree that its good and really original and an anime that developed its characters beautifully i must add..but it just didnt do it that much for ME..i liked the plot but the theme wasnt attracting me all that much..i also always preferred kinda older anime and lighter shounen ones but main reason i think is that i was young and then i got lost with the updates and the fandom was kinda getting on my nerves with the spoilers then, so i just lost motivation to continue it

@@kairo_9512 trust me, so many people do, even I don't like him that much since he's a relatively bland character, but I myself could never hate him I love Dragon Ball and he's a great fighter and a hero but his shortcomings as a father make him flawed but not In a good way, at least he has some character, well had, in Z and Original Dragon Ball. Characters like Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan and even Whis are more interesting but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy when Goku kicks the arseholes asunder of his enemies.
But yeah many, many people hate him, most of the time it's for some stupid reason or a bias towards other anime or just blind hate because he's an idiot but a lot of the times it's for genuinely bad things he has done and that had put many people off, many people just don't like how Goku has regressed and made so many stupid decisions through Super and In a way, they are justified.

AoT has never been streamed on TV nor is it available on Netflix... If AoT was Streamed like these shows it would have been 10 times more popular
They are known as the greatest but not most popular because majority of these anime watchers, Watch the Big 3 and DBZ as an anime tradition. Popularity comes through ratings, episodes, arcs and international votes so AOT has taken the lead into it.

The reason AoT is so liked is because, unlike other anime, it includes other nationalities other than Japanese, it has great non-cliched fight scenes (protagonist doesn't always win) and it has great moments and twists you didn't expect, making it awesome to watch. Also, Isayama had great control when the anime was made, he made sure they'll show his story the way he imagined it. The bad part is the ending being utter bullshit.

@@Aiden5763 For fate series I agree but for MAPPA, hell no. JJK animation isn't as good as KNY first season and in second season KNY has reached above and beyond with animation. And for fate series, even I agree that nothing can be compared to the animation of Heaven's feel movies.
@@aahishpal631 no kny animation isn't good it just uses flashes and colours correctly with 3 d and camera plans to make the thing cleaner without wasting episodes budget trust me you are talking about someone who knows what he is talking about the choegraphie in kny is pretty bad and even western movies like spirit who got a good choegraphie are better animated then kny

@@Aiden5763 Man if you are talking about JJK movie's animation, then I guess you haven't watched Mugen train. Mugen train's animation will make JJK animation look like average and whenever MAPPA uses CG it looks terrible but whenever UFOTABLE uses CG it looks awesome.

Kny only uses bright colour panels to make the animation look clean but the choegraphie which is the base of the animation is bad . You can littéraly see characters teleporting from frame to frame
And ufotable 3d is one of the worst i have ever seen . Have you seen how disgusting the 3 was when that one moon was getting eaten by muzan's "pet"
While mappa's 3d is so clean that you can't even see it
I'm talking about the team that worked in the jujutsu kaisen and chainsaw man project not the one that did Yuri on ice / attack on titan
Just look at the chainsaw man trailer . You won't even notice that 80% of it is cgi (all of the decors)
And the 3d in jujutsu kaisen is also thousands of years above just look at the first opening kaikai kitan . Its full of cgi but its so clean that it seems like normal drawings

Didn't the creator specify that 1 anti spiral galaxy is the size of our universe, not observable but the genuine full size of our universe. And they just toss those around like paper. I also recall in a similar post that the drill was 150x larger the STTGL I think.
